Matt Ryan said the Falcons scripted throws to Roddy White to open the Week 11 loss to the Colts.
Ryan's first three passes of the game went to White, but the throws netted just five yards as the Falcons blew an opportunity to capitalize on an early Matt Hasselbeck interception. White ended up seeing nine targets total but finished with just four catches for 24 yards. It is unlikely White complains about not getting enough targets this week. Nov 24 - 11:49 AM

Roddy White secured 4-of-9 targets for 24 yards in the Falcons' Week 11 loss to the Colts.

The Falcons made an obvious effort to get Roddy more involved -- targeting him on each of their first three pass plays off the game -- but he failed to deliver by struggling to create separation and win contested catches. White has been a fantasy non-factor all year long and figures to stay that way when Atlanta hosts Minnesota in Week 12.
Nov 22 - 5:24 PM

The Falcons' official website said there is a "good chance" Roddy White is more involved in the offense moving forward.

Coach Dan Quinn talked about getting White more involved this week, and White complained before the bye he wanted more looks. This is not the first time we have heard this refrain this season, and White has still not seen more than four targets since Week 1. With Jacob Tamme playing well and Leonard Hankerson (hamstring) on the way back, White is unlikely to become a fantasy factor this season.

Roddy White said he wants to be "more involved" in the offense.

"I would like to be more involved in the offense, but it is what it is," White said. "I’m going to go out there and run the plays that are called and block as hard as I can and help my team win." White had two targets against the 49ers and has seen four targets or fewer in every game since Week 1. Even with Leonard Hankerson out with a hamstring injury, White has been invisible in the offense and has been out-targeted by rookie Justin Hardy. He does not need to be owned anywhere.
Nov 8 - 10:03 PM

Roddy White secured 1-of-2 targets for 20 yards in the Falcons' Week 9 loss to the 49ers.

White was not heard from until the final play of the third quarter, where Matt Ryan targeted him and the pass was knocked out of Roddy's hands. Even with Leonard Hankerson (hamstring) sidelined, White has played a blocking-oriented role in Atlanta's offense. The Falcons go on a bye in Week 10, and Hankerson figures to return for their next game.
Nov 8 - 7:53 PM

Roddy White hauled in two of three targets for 24 yards in the Falcons’ Week 8 loss to the Buccaneers.

Most of the yardage came on a 19-yard slant in the fourth quarter. Rookie Justin Hardy, who was playing in his first NFL game Sunday, was targeted more than White. If Roddy can’t produce with Leonard Hankerson out of the lineup, he never will. Obviously, he’s not a fantasy factor and hasn’t been for a while.
Nov 1 - 5:52 PM

Roddy White secured 3-of-4 targets for 48 yards in Week 7 against the Titans.

White saw increased snaps after Leonard Hankerson left in the first half. He still wasn't much of a pass-game factor, and had his biggest play called back on a penalty. White might be worth a waiver-add if Hankerson misses time, but wouldn't be more than a low-end WR3.
Oct 25 - 4:54 PM

Roddy White (foot) is active for Week 7 against the Titans.

White was limited in practice this week, but his status wasn't in doubt. Leonard Hankerson (ribs, hamstring) is also active. The Falcons inactives are WR Justin Hardy, LB Allen Bradford, LB Philip Wheeler, OT Bryce Harris, CB Dez Southward, C Gino Gradkowski, and DE Malliciah Goodman.
Oct 25 - 11:38 AM

Roddy White (foot) was upgraded to full in Friday's practice and is probable for Week 7 against the Titans.

Leonard Hankerson (ribs, hamstring) is also listed as probable. Averaging four targets over the last two weeks, White isn't more than a low-end WR4.
Oct 23 - 5:56 PM

Roddy White (foot) remained limited at Thursday's practice.

As long as he avoids a setback, White should be fine for Sunday's game against Tennessee. He finally scored a touchdown against New Orleans after going his first five weeks without one. Until White starts getting more targets (21 in six games), it's tough to justify owning him in fantasy.
Oct 22 - 4:05 PM

Roddy White (foot) was limited in Wednesday's practice.

It's a new injury for White. He played 61 snaps and posted a 3/24/1 line in Week 7. White has more targets than Leonard Hankerson over the last two weeks.
Oct 21 - 4:39 PM

Roddy White caught 3-of-4 targets for 23 yards and a touchdown in Atlanta's Week 6 loss to the Saints.

All four of White's targets came in the first half. It looked like it might be White's night after he caught his first touchdown of the season in the second quarter, but he still ended up getting out-targeted and out-gained by Leonard Hankerson. White is a distant No. 3 in the receiver corps, leaving him without value in 12-team leagues.
Oct 16 - 12:13 AM

Roddy White said he will "be a Falcon for life."

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reported on Sunday three teams are "mulling trades" for the veteran wide receiver, but a team official gave an emphatic "No!" when asked if White was on the trading block. White voiced displeasure about his role in the offense early last week, but he ended up backing off those comments. White should remain with the Falcons all season, but it does not appear like his role in the offense will grow as long as Leonard Hankerson is healthy.
Oct 12 - 8:47 AM

Roddy White caught 2-of-4 targets for 23 yards in the Falcons' Week 5 win over the Redskins.

White was generally a non-factor in a game where Matt Ryan attempted 42 throws. White has been droppable in 10- and 12-team leagues for a few weeks now.
Oct 11 - 4:28 PM

According to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, three teams are "mulling trades" for Roddy White.

White recently expressed frustration with his limited role in the Falcons' passing game but backed off those remarks after meeting with coach Dan Quinn. White is set to make $5 million this season. That could make him difficult to trade. White has been the Falcons' fourth-most targeted receiver this year behind Julio Jones, Leonard Hankerson and Devonta Freeman. The trade deadline is October 28.
