Bucs reserve OL Marcus Johnson was arrested on a DUI charge early Tuesday morning.

Johnson was reportedly asleep at the wheel of his car at an intersection in Tampa at 4 a.m. He took a field sobriety test but refused a breathalyzer. Johnson, a 2005 second-round pick, latched on with the Bucs after being cut by the Raiders late in training camp.

A versatile 27-year-old with starting experience, Johnson looked like a solid add when Oakland signed him in April. He must've struggled badly in camp.

Johnson hasn't started a game in three years, but can play both guard spots and right tackle, and is 27. He will likely be a "swing" reserve in Oakland.

Free agent OL Marcus Johnson has a visit scheduled with the Titans.

The Titans are looking for offensive line depth and Johnson can play both guard spots and right tackle. He hasn't started a game since 2006, however.

Mike Rosenthal will start going forward. Johnson remains an integral part of Minnesota's future and will have a chance to redeem himself next season. An ankle injury especially didn't help Johnson this year.

If the two starting linemen can't play at home against New England, Chester Taylor will be an even shakier fantasy play in Week 8.

Vikings signed tackle Marcus Johnson, a second-round pick, to a five-year, $3.455 million contract.

The Mississippi tackle has ideal size and should be Minnesota's right tackle of the future. He could play guard this year, though.
