Free agent LB Tyjuan Hagler is hoping to be back with the Colts in 2011.

Hagler was drafted by the Colts and spent the first four years of his career in Indy. With Clint Session (hamstring) and Kavell Conner (foot) sidelined, Hagler will provide depth.

Seahawks signed LB Tyjuan Hagler, formerly of the Colts, to an undisclosed contract.

Hagler lost his starting job to Philip Wheeler in early November when he tore his biceps last year. He failed to draw interest on the open market this offseason and will be limited to a backup role with the Seahawks.

Coach Jim Caldwell indicated that the team has not had any internal discussions about bringing back free agent LB Tyjuan Hagler.

Hagler missed most of last season after tearing a biceps muscle. He's been a starter on the strong side in the past, but would probably need an injury to get back with the Colts.

Colts LB Tyjuan Hagler (torn biceps) has been cleared to begin lifting weights.

"Honestly, I could play right now," said Hagler. The strong-side starter was placed on injured reserve in early November, with Philip Wheeler moving into the starting lineup. Hagler should be cleared for all offseason workouts.

Colts placed SLB Tyjuan Hagler on injured reserve with a torn biceps muscle, ending his season.

Philip Wheeler and Ramon Humber are next on the depth chart, but Wheeler figures to get the nod because of his blitzing abilities. Hagler, a free agent in the offseason, sees his season end with just 26 tackles in seven games.

Colts SLB Tyjuan Hagler left Sunday's game in the fourth quarter with an elbow injury and did not return.

Hagler joined CB Kelvin Hayden (concussion, knee) on the sidelines. The Colts aren't expected to update the status of either player until Wednesday at the earliest.

The Colts have elevated Tyjuan Hagler to their first-team strong-side linebacker, replacing Philip Wheeler.

Wheeler has more ability than Hagler, particularly as a blitzer, but the Colts will lean towards Hagler's experience. This isn't a good position for IDP.

The Texans need depth at linebacker with DeMeco Ryans sitting out spring drills. Hagler likely wouldn't be a serious candidate to start in Houston.

Colts LB Tyjuan Hagler expects to start against the Chargers Sunday.

It sounds like he'll start on the weak side, which will move Freddy Keiaho to the middle. Buster Davis is likely heading to the bench. Hagler is a talent upgrade on Davis, so this should help Indy's rush defense against LaDainian Tomlinson. Gary Brackett (broken leg) will miss the game.

Whether he resumes starting remains to be seen. Fill-in Clint Session is currently second on the Colts in tackles, behind only WLB Freddie Keiaho.
