Patriots waived S Vincent Fuller and promoted DE Alex Silvestro and DB Sterling Moore from their practice squad.
Moore has the versatility New England values with the ability to play both corner and safety. Silvestro is an undrafted rookie. Fuller was signed just a few days ago. He must have not looked very good in the practice field. Fri, Dec 23, 2011 04:33:00 PM

Patriots signed S Vincent Fuller.

Fuller was released from the Lions with an injury settlement earlier this month. He'll be a special teamer and secondary depth for the Pats. ESPN's Mike Reiss notes that New England's senior football adviser, Floyd Reese, was the Titans' general manager when Floyd was drafted by Tennessee back in 2005.

Lions placed S Vincent Fuller (elbow) on injured reserve, ending his season.

Fuller was signed in early October, quickly got injured, and wound up appearing in one game without a tackle. Chris Harris has taken his roster spot.

Lions signed S Vincent Fuller, formerly of the Titans.

Fuller is listed as a safety, but he's always been a slot corner and special teamer. The 29-year-old has a background with Jim Schwartz from their time together in Nashville. He'll push for snaps behind Eric Wright and Chris Houston.

Titans released S Vincent Fuller and S Robert Johnson.

Tennessee's long-time nickel back had fallen behind Jason McCourty and Alterraun Verner by the end of the last season. He was forced to take a pay cut from $2.6 million to $750,000 two weeks ago. Johnson was a 2010 fifth-rounder out of Idaho.

Titans S Vincent Fuller has agreed to reduce his 2011 salary from $2.06 million to $750,000.

By taking the paycut, Fuller gets on an even playing field with his competitors for a roster spot. Jordan Babineaux is scheduled to make $810,000 and Anthony Smith $685,000. If Fuller, who is currently running with the third stringers, gets cut it won't be about money.

The Nashville Tennessean suggests Sunday's game could be the last for S Vincent Fuller with the Titans.

Fuller has another year remaining on his contract for $2.06 million, but there's no way the Titans will pay that. Already behind Jason McCourty and Alterraun Verner on the depth chart, the former nickel back Fuller has been deactivated in favor of Pete Ittersagen the past two weeks.

Titans nickel back Vincent Fuller is not on the Week 8 injury report and will return to action against Jacksonville.

Tennessee's secondary is finally getting healthy, but it wasn't very good in the first place. Consider David Garrard a legitimate QB1 option this week.

Titans nickel back Vincent Fuller underwent surgery on his fractured arm Monday and is out 4-6 weeks.

The Titans are probably too thin in the secondary already to place Fuller on injured reserve and will wait it out. Fuller will have to wear a cast on the arm when he returns, likely hurting his potential for interceptions.

Titans nickel back Vincent Fuller is out indefinitely after breaking his right arm in Sunday's loss to the Jets.

Fuller is listed at safety, but essentially plays corner because he joins Nick Harper and Cortland Finnegan at CB in nickel sets. His loss forced rookie Ryan Mouton into the lineup. The Titans' back end is in a world of trouble.

Titans re-signed S Vincent Fuller to a three-year contract.

They couldn't retain Albert Haynesworth, but at least they maintain stability in their secondary. Fuller will resume his nickel back/special teamer role. The former Virginia Tech Hokie has only two career interceptions. He is the main backup for Pro Bowl free safety Michael Griffin.

New coach Jim Schwartz acknowledged Thursday that he's interested in adding ex-Titans to the Lions' roster.

As long as they're not as bad as the ex-Bucs Rod Marinelli brought in. CB Eric King, FS Vincent Fuller, and OT Daniel Loper could be targeted by Schwartz.

Vincent Fuller is the favorite to be the Titans' nickel back this season.

It appears Reynaldo Hill, Eric King, and Chris Carr are on the outside looking in. Playing through a dislocated shoulder in 2007, Fuller made 30 tackles and picked off two passes. He is also free safety Michael Griffin's top backup.

Titans signed restricted free agent DBs Vincent Fuller and Reynaldo Hill to one-year, $927,000 contracts.

Fuller appeared to be a promising prospect coming out of Virginia Tech in 2005, but hasn't developed into more than a special teamer. Hill is currently the Titans' third corner, but will be pushed for that role by Chris Carr.
Thu, Apr 24, 2008 10:55:00 PM

Titans declared safety Vincent Fuller, tailback Damien Nash, tackles Daniel Loper and David Stewart, receiver Courtney Roby, tight end Gregg Guenther, and defensive end Bo Schobel inactive for Sunday's game.

Matt Mauck will be the team's emergency quarterback. Fuller, mostly a special teamer, has no tackles in limited action during two games.
