Vikings re-signed G/C Joe Berger.

33-year-old Berger made nine starts at right guard last year, playing in place of injured Brandon Fusco. Fusco will be back, so Berger may return to compete to start at left guard. The Vikings would ideally bring back Berger as a swing lineman, however. His best asset is his center-guard versatility.

The Vikings are unlikely to re-sign free agent RG Joe Berger.

Berger would need to accept a team-friendly deal to remain in Minnesota. He's coming off a career year in 2014, making nine starts and grading out positively in run blocking. Berger is Rotoworld's No. 18 free-agent interior lineman.

Vikings re-signed C/G Joe Berger.

It's likely a one-year deal for the backup interior lineman. The soon-to-be 32-year-old has made two starts the past two seasons but has appeared in all 32 games.

Vikings re-signed C/G Joe Berger to a one-year contract.

It's a minimum deal for Berger, who started seven games in 2011 but none last season. He'll serve as interior depth once again.

Vikings signed C/G Joe Berger and waived C Jon Cooper.

The 29-year-old Berger has 20 career starts, mostly at guard and center. He's a more experienced option than Cooper, but will ideally be a reserve only.

Dolphins C Joe Berger is expected to move back to a reserve role with Richie Incognito moving into the starting center job.

Berger beat out an unmotivated Jake Grove for the job last season, but he struggled as a run blocker and missed time with a knee injury.

Dolphins C Joe Berger (knee) is expected to be available for Week 12 at Oakland.

The Miami Herald reports that Berger has been attending to a "personal issue" that kept him from playing Thursday night more than the knee injury. Berger's return will keep Richie Incognito at left guard, which is great news for Tyler Thigpen.

Dolphins C Joe Berger (knee) sat out Tuesday's practice.

He's a question mark to play against the Bears Thursday night. While Jake Long is expected to try to play through a shoulder injury, it's no given, so the Dolphins could be without two starting linemen against the tough Bears front seven. Cory Procter is filling in for Berger in practice.

A team source tells the Miami Herald that Joe Berger has beaten out Jake Grove for the Dolphins' starting center job.

Grove, signed to a $30 million contract just last year, has a reliability problem. He's missed 10 games over the past two seasons, and he's been battling a leg injury in camp. Berger isn't as strong, but he does offer more mobility. Grove may have a chance to win back the job down the line. For now, he looks like a free agent bust.

Dolphins utility OL Joe Berger left Sunday's game in the fourth quarter with an ankle injury.

Berger had come on to replace Jake Grove (ankle), who tried to go back into the game but was ultimately kept on the bench. Nate Garner has moved to center after playing both tackle and guard earlier in the game.

Dolphins signed OL Joe Berger.

Jason Brown is closing in on a deal with the Rams, so Berger will fill in at guard while pushing Samson Satele for the starting center position. He could also be a versatile backup at any position.

The Dolphins will host free agent OL Joe Berger on Friday.

Berger, 27 in May, was with Tony Sparano, Jeff Ireland, and Bill Parcells in Dallas. He's likely being targeted as depth at all three line positions.

Cowboys signed G/T Joe Berger, a restricted free agent, to a one-year, $927,000 contract.

With Friday being the deadline for RFAs to sign offer sheets, there are none in the league we know of that are likely to be pursued. Berger appeared in his first NFL game last year. He was a sixth-round pick by Carolina in 2005.

Cowboys re-signed exclusive rights free agent offensive lineman Joe Berger to a one-year contract.

Berger, whom the Dolphins were once high on, can play every position on the line except left tackle. He's a good bet for a roster spot in Dallas.
