Jaguars signed TE Stephen Spach and OT Herb Taylor.

Spach is a blocking specialist and will play behind Marcedes Lewis and Zach Potter if active on game days. He was with the Rams in 2011. Taylor was with the Packers this summer.

Rams TE Stephen Spach sustained a concussion in Monday night's game.

The third stringer and blocking specialist will have to go through the NFL's testing protocol before gaining clearance for a return.

Rams signed TE Stephen Spach.

With Michael Hoomanawanui (calf) healing slowly, the Rams have been scouring the wire for tight end help. Spach brings starting experience as a blocker behind rookie talent Lance Kendricks. The Rams released TE/FB Ben Guidugli in a corresponding move.

Cardinals released TE Stephen Spach.

Spach started 22 games for the Cardinals over the past three years, but was no longer needed after the team upgraded to Todd Heap, Rob Housler, and Jeff King at tight end.

Cardinals re-signed TE Stephen Spach, FB Reagan Maui'a, and OT D'Anthony Batiste.

Spach returns as Arizona's likely third-string tight end behind Jeff King and Rob Housler. Maui'a will have his work cut out to make the team, competing with promising rookie lead blocker Anthony Sherman. Batiste finished last season on the roster after signing in October. He's a fourth tackle at best.

Cardinals TE Stephen Spach did not play in the season finale after tearing his left calf muscle in pregame warmups.

Spach, a solid blocker and special teamer, is an impending free agent. He should be fully healed well before minicamp season.

Cardinals re-signed TE Stephen Spach to a one-year contract.

Spach has 13 receptions in four pro seasons. The 28-year-old (in July) offers no upside, but Arizona values his blocking and special teams ability.

Cardinals TE Stephen Spach (knee) has been ruled out for Week 13.

Spach recently aggravated the knee that underwent ACL and MCL surgery last January. Ben Patrick will continue to be the team's primary tight end until Spach returns.

Cardinals TE Stephen Spach is out indefinitely with an ankle injury.

We're guessing it's of the "high" variety because Spach was on crutches after Sunday's win. He has just three catches for 16 yards on the season.

Cardinals TE Stephen Spach (ACL, MCL surgery) has been cleared to practice for training camp.

Spach will battle Leonard Pope and Anthony Becht for snaps this August. The Cards boast arguably the least productive tight end situation in the NFC.

Cardinals TE Stephen Spach (ACL, MCL surgery) is considered questionable for the start of the season.

Spach is running pass patterns now, but he's not ready for full contact. With Ben Patrick out the first four games, former Rams third-rounder Dominique Byrd could make the team as the third tight end behind Leonard Pope and Anthony Becht.

Cardinals TE Stephen Spach (ACL, MCL surgery) expects to be ready for training camp.

We'll see. Spach didn't have the surgery until late January, and he tore the ACL, MCL and meniscus in his knee. Even if returns in time, the tight end will not have fantasy value.

Cardinals TE Stephen Spach tore more than just his ACL last week, also tearing his MCL and his meniscus.

He will undergo surgery in Alabama Thursday with Dr. James Andrews. If all goes well, the rehab should take about six months, which would have him back for the start of training camp. But that's an extremely optimistic scenario.

An MRI revealed that TE Stephen Spach tore his right ACL in the Cardinals' Divisional Round win at Carolina. He is lost for the postseason.

Spach had risen past oft-injured Leonard Pope and Ben Patrick on the depth chart in recent weeks. His loss is a blow to Arizona's outside run blocking.
