Chiefs agreed to terms on a four-year, $16 million contract with TE Anthony Fasano.
It includes a $4.5 million signing bonus. Fasano, who will turn 29 in April, slides in as the No. 2 tight end behind Tony Moeaki. Used mostly as a blocker in Miami, his career-high for yardage is 528. We wouldn't expect Fasano to reach that mark in Andy Reid's West Coast scheme. Mar 12 - 4:16 PM

The Sideline View's Adam Caplan considers TE Anthony Fasano someone to "keep an eye on" after the first wave of free agency.

The 28-year-old (in April) tight end has just 205 catches across 108 career games, but Caplan believes teams will come away impressed with his tape. Fasano has always been a bit underrated, but with the tight end market unusually loaded, he picked the wrong year to reach free agency.

The Dolphins are not expected to prioritize re-signing TE Anthony Fasano this offseason.

An impending unrestricted free agent, Fasano finished with a career-high 41 catches this season, but was rarely a factor in the passing game and there's been no indication that he'll be brought back. The Dolphins will likely look to replace Fasano in-house with TE/FB Charles Clay and 2012 third-round pick Michael Egnew.

Anthony Fasano caught three passes for 31 yards in the Dolphins' Week 17 loss to New England.

An impending free agent, Fasano wraps up his contract year with a career-high 41 catches, but for only 332 yards on a career-low 8.1 yards per reception. He did score five touchdowns, but Fasano's lack of playmaking ability has long prevented him from being a serious fantasy football factor. If he leaves Miami this offseason, we wouldn't anticipate any kind of breakout from the pedestrian, 28-year-old veteran.

Anthony Fasano had two catches for 12 yards in Week 16 against the Bills.

With Davone Bess sidelined, Fasano saw just four targets from Ryan Tannehill, and has only 77 yards over his last three games. He's been mostly a non-factor all year for the Dolphins, but maintained low-end fantasy value due to his ability to score touchdowns. Third-round pick Michael Egnew was active for the first time this season and saw limited snaps as the "move" tight end.

Anthony Fasano caught six balls for 56 yards and a touchdown in the Dolphins' Week 16 win over Jacksonville.

Fasano was the box-score beneficiary of Davone Bess' (back) inactivity, hauling in a red-zone score and playing in the slot often. Fasano will still be difficult to trust as a desperation tight end play in Week 16 against the Bills. He lacks playmaking ability and has been a fantasy non-factor all year.

Anthony Fasano caught two passes for nine yards and a touchdown in the Dolphins' Week 14 loss to the 49ers.

He was targeted four times. Fasano's touchdown looked like it should've been overturned on replay, but the officials opted against it. Fasano has not caught more than two passes in a game for seven weeks now.

Anthony Fasano (hip) returned to a full practice on Friday and is listed as probable for Week 14 against the 49ers.

Fasano was limited in the previous two days of practice, but he'll be fine to go. However, he's far off the fantasy radar and should not be owned in 12- or 14-team leagues. Fasano has caught exactly one pass in each of the past six games.

Anthony Fasano caught one pass for 10 yards in the Dolphins' Week 12 win over the Seahawks.

Fasano was limited by his hip injury and Charles Clay is a more explosive pass-catcher anyway. Fasano has exactly one catch in each of his last five games.
Sun, Nov 25, 2012 05:25:00 PM

Anthony Fasano (hip) has been downgraded to questionable for Sunday's contest against the Seahawks.

Fasano was listed as probable. Michael Egnew could be in line to make his first regular season appearance, but Charles Clay and Jeron Mastrud would be ahead of him on the depth chart.
Sat, Nov 24, 2012 12:37:00 PM

Anthony Fasano caught just one pass for eight yards in Thursday night's loss to the Bills.

Fasano saw just two targets, and the tight end has just one catch in each of his past four games. He's as far away from the fantasy radar as you can get right now.
Fri, Nov 16, 2012 01:00:00 AM

Anthony Fasano caught one pass for four yards in the Dolphins' Week 10 loss to the Titans.

Even with the Dolphins in all-out comeback mode for the entire day, Fasano saw just three targets. This is his third straight game with one catch and single-digit yardage.

Anthony Fasano was held to one catch for eight yards versus the Colts in Week 9.

The Colts defend tight ends well, and Sunday was no exception. Fasano reeled in just one of four targets. He's on pace for a 48/376/6 stat line heading into Week 10 versus the Titans.
Sun, Nov 4, 2012 05:51:00 PM

Anthony Fasano caught a four-yard touchdown in Week 8 against the Jets.

Fasano was a non-factor in the passing game and had just two targets. He scored his third touchdown of the season on a four-yard fade from Matt Moore in the back of the end-zone. Fasano won't be a recommended fantasy option in Week 9 against the Colts.
Sun, Oct 28, 2012 06:32:00 PM

Anthony Fasano caught four passes for 33 yards and a touchdown in Miami's Week 6 win over the Rams.

The score was Fasano's second of the season. Fasano can be counted on for 3-4 catches per week, but with just two touchdowns and 176 yards, he's an extremely low upside bye-week fill-in.
