Anthony Fasano secured 5-of-7 targets for 84 yards and a touchdown in the Titans' Week 2 loss to the Browns.
Fasano turned in a shockingly productive day in the absence of Delanie Walker (wrist), with Chase Coffman (4-42) sharing time at tight end. Even if Walker misses another game -- and we're betting he won't -- Fasano won't be on the TE1 fantasy streaming radar against the Colts in Week 3. Sep 20 - 5:02 PM

Titans signed TE Anthony Fasano, formerly of the Chiefs.

Fasano is a pure blocking and red-zone tight end. The Titans continue to get slower and older on offense with the additions of Fasano and WR Harry Douglas. Fasano will play on the end of the line and fade into the darkness in Tennessee.

The Bills are reportedly interested in free agent TE Anthony Fasano.

Released by Kansas City late last month, Fasano visited the Titans on Tuesday. The 31-year-old is purely a blocking tight end at this stage of his career.

Free agent TE Anthony Fasano will visit the Titans on Tuesday.

Fasano, 31 next month, is a blocking specialist and red-zone tight end. He was released by the Chiefs late last month in a cost-saving move. In Tennessee, Fasano would slide in behind Delanie Walker, replacing Craig Stevens.
Mar 9 - 10:26 PM

Chiefs released TE Anthony Fasano.

The move clears $1.959 million in cap space. More importantly for fantasy purposes, it frees up last year's TE8, Travis Kelce, to go absolutely bonkers in 2015. Going on 31, Fasano was constantly banged up in 2014, and it was reflected by his play. He caught just 25 passes for 226 yards over 15 games, and his run blocking fell off a cliff. A nine-year veteran who's had a well-rounded game, Fasano will undoubtedly latch on elsewhere, but there's no guarantee he'll crack someone's 53-man roster.

Anthony Fasano (knee) remained limited on Thursday.

Fasano's status is not in doubt for Week 14. He's well off the fantasy radar.

Anthony Fasano (knee) is listed as probable for Week 13.

Fasano was active for last Thursday night's loss to the Raiders, but only played two snaps. His role is unclear for Sunday's clash with the Broncos.

Anthony Fasano (knee) returned to Chiefs practice Thursday, getting in a limited session.

The barely-there TE2 will be ready to rock for Sunday night's game against the Broncos.

Anthony Fasano (knee) did not practice Wednesday.

Fasano played through his knee injury last week, but was on the field for just two snaps. His presence will continue to limit Travis Kelce's upside if he plays on Sunday night. Fasano has just a 22/203/3 line this season.

Anthony Fasano caught 2-of-2 targets for 30 yards and a touchdown in Kansas City's Week 12 loss to the Raiders.

Returning from a knee injury, Fasano made a beautiful adjustment on an under-thrown ball from Alex Smith for his 19-yard score in the third quarter. The touchdown was Fasano's third of the season. The barely-there TE2 will take a 22/203/3 line into Week 13.

Anthony Fasano (knee) is active for Week 12 against the Raiders.

Fasano has zero fantasy value, but his presence renders Travis Kelce a boom-or-bust option as a TE1. Inactive for the Chiefs are QB Aaron Murray, WR Donnie Avery, WR A.J. Jenkins, CB Chris Owens, CB Jamell Fleming, C Eric Kush and G/T Laurent Duvernay-Tardif. The Chiefs are remarkably thin at receiver.

Anthony Fasano (knee) is questionable for Thursday night's Week 12 game against the Raiders.

Fasano has been limited in practice all week after missing Week 11, but we fully expect him to play against Oakland, which will likely mean Travis Kelce goes back to being a part-time player. Still, Kelce would be a boom-or-bust TE1.

Anthony Fasano (knee) remained limited on Tuesday.

Barring a setback, it appears Fasano will be ready for Thursday's game against the Raiders. That, of course, is bad news for Travis Kelce owners. That being said, Fasano will remain off the radar if he suits up, while Kelce will be a boom-or-bust TE1.

Anthony Fasano (knee) returned to practice on Monday.

Barring a setback ahead of Thursday night's clash with the Raiders, this puts Fasano on track to return in Week 12. Travis Kelce figures to go back to playing 55-60 percent of Kansas City's offensive snaps, although that isn't a lock. Kelce will remain in the lower-end TE1 conversation against the Raiders. A blocker and possession tight end, Fasano hasn't been a fantasy factor all year.

Chiefs declared TE Anthony Fasano (knee) inactive for Sunday's game against the Seahawks.

The roadblock to Travis Kelce's eruption has (hopefully) been cleared. Fasano's absence should turn Kelce into an every-down player against a Seahawks defense that has been susceptible at times to pass-catching tight ends. The Chiefs are also playing without Donnie Avery and AJ Jenkins, leaving Frankie Hammond to start opposite Dwayne Bowe. Kelce is a strong TE1 play.
