Anthony Fasano caught 2-of-2 targets for 30 yards and a touchdown in Kansas City's Week 12 loss to the Raiders.
Returning from a knee injury, Fasano made a beautiful adjustment on an under-thrown ball from Alex Smith for his 19-yard score in the third quarter. The touchdown was Fasano's third of the season. The barely-there TE2 will take a 22/203/3 line into Week 13. Nov 21 - 12:28 AM

Anthony Fasano (knee) is active for Week 12 against the Raiders.

Fasano has zero fantasy value, but his presence renders Travis Kelce a boom-or-bust option as a TE1. Inactive for the Chiefs are QB Aaron Murray, WR Donnie Avery, WR A.J. Jenkins, CB Chris Owens, CB Jamell Fleming, C Eric Kush and G/T Laurent Duvernay-Tardif. The Chiefs are remarkably thin at receiver.

Anthony Fasano (knee) is questionable for Thursday night's Week 12 game against the Raiders.

Fasano has been limited in practice all week after missing Week 11, but we fully expect him to play against Oakland, which will likely mean Travis Kelce goes back to being a part-time player. Still, Kelce would be a boom-or-bust TE1.
Nov 19 - 12:57 PM

Anthony Fasano (knee) remained limited on Tuesday.

Barring a setback, it appears Fasano will be ready for Thursday's game against the Raiders. That, of course, is bad news for Travis Kelce owners. That being said, Fasano will remain off the radar if he suits up, while Kelce will be a boom-or-bust TE1.
Nov 18 - 5:09 PM

Anthony Fasano (knee) returned to practice on Monday.

Barring a setback ahead of Thursday night's clash with the Raiders, this puts Fasano on track to return in Week 12. Travis Kelce figures to go back to playing 55-60 percent of Kansas City's offensive snaps, although that isn't a lock. Kelce will remain in the lower-end TE1 conversation against the Raiders. A blocker and possession tight end, Fasano hasn't been a fantasy factor all year.
Nov 17 - 1:07 PM

Chiefs declared TE Anthony Fasano (knee) inactive for Sunday's game against the Seahawks.

The roadblock to Travis Kelce's eruption has (hopefully) been cleared. Fasano's absence should turn Kelce into an every-down player against a Seahawks defense that has been susceptible at times to pass-catching tight ends. The Chiefs are also playing without Donnie Avery and AJ Jenkins, leaving Frankie Hammond to start opposite Dwayne Bowe. Kelce is a strong TE1 play.
Nov 16 - 11:53 AM

Chiefs coach Andy Reid stated Friday that Anthony Fasano "might play" in Week 11 against the Seahawks.

Fasano did not practice at all this week and will be a game-time decision against the Seahawks. If Fasano does not play, the Chiefs might utilize Travis Kelce as a full-time player.
Nov 14 - 2:14 PM

Anthony Fasano (knee) remained sidelined Thursday.

Fasano is looking unlikely to suit up against the Seahawks, leaving Travis Kelce as a mouth-watering option against a defense allowing the fourth most fantasy points to tight ends.
Nov 13 - 5:03 PM

Anthony Fasano (knee) is not practicing Wednesday.

Fasano has a bruised knee. His status for Week 11 is uncertain. If Fasano can't go, Travis Kelce could see a much-deserved uptick in snaps. No. 3 tight end Demetrius Harris broke his foot in Week 10 and was sent to injured reserve.
Nov 12 - 12:52 PM

Anthony Fasano sustained a knee contusion toward the end of Sunday's Week 10 win at Buffalo.

A contusion is just a fancy word for a bruise, but it was severe enough that Fasano missed snaps in a close game. He finished with 47-of-62 while Travis Kelce was up at 41-of-62. Kelce owners should be monitoring Fasano's status closely heading into a plus Week 11 matchup at home against the Seahawks.
Nov 10 - 10:17 AM

Anthony Fasano (shoulder) is listed as probable for Week 9 against the Jets.

Fasano suffered a shoulder injury last week, but it won't keep him out of Sunday's game. He'll continue to get the majority of snaps as Kansas City's in-line tight end, with Travis Kelce playing on pass downs.
Nov 1 - 9:12 PM

Anthony Fasano managed 19 yards on four catches in the Chiefs' Week 8 win over the Rams.

He reeled in all of his targets as one of many checkdown options for Alex Smith. It'll likely go down as one of Fasano's better games of the season. He's clearly not anywhere near the fantasy radar.
Oct 26 - 5:52 PM

Anthony Fasano was held without a catch in Kansas City's Week 7 win over the Chargers.

The catch-less effort was Fasano's second in three games. He also committed an offensive pass interference penalty, negating a Travis Kelce grab. Fasano is rapidly falling off the TE2 radar.
Oct 19 - 8:19 PM

Anthony Fasano caught 4-of-6 targets for 32 yards in Kansas City's Week 5 loss to the 49ers.

The only time Fasano stood out was when he was targeted on Alex Smith's game-ending interception. Fasano's blocking is keeping him on the field at the expense of the far-more explosive Travis Kelce, but he has just 12 catches for 123 yards through five games. Fasano won't ever come into value in daily leagues.
Oct 5 - 8:22 PM

Chiefs TE Anthony Fasano caught 2-of-2 targets for 23 yards in Sunday's Week 3 tilt with the Dolphins.

Fasano's role remains locked in as Kansas City's blocking tight end, but he offers very little in the passing attack. He's a low-upside TE2 at most.
