Anthony Fasano was held without a catch in Kansas City's Week 7 win over the Chargers.
The catch-less effort was Fasano's second in three games. He also committed an offensive pass interference penalty, negating a Travis Kelce grab. Fasano is rapidly falling off the TE2 radar. Oct 19 - 8:19 PM

Anthony Fasano caught 4-of-6 targets for 32 yards in Kansas City's Week 5 loss to the 49ers.

The only time Fasano stood out was when he was targeted on Alex Smith's game-ending interception. Fasano's blocking is keeping him on the field at the expense of the far-more explosive Travis Kelce, but he has just 12 catches for 123 yards through five games. Fasano won't ever come into value in daily leagues.
Oct 5 - 8:22 PM

Chiefs TE Anthony Fasano caught 2-of-2 targets for 23 yards in Sunday's Week 3 tilt with the Dolphins.

Fasano's role remains locked in as Kansas City's blocking tight end, but he offers very little in the passing attack. He's a low-upside TE2 at most.
Sep 21 - 7:49 PM

Anthony Fasano secured 3-of-6 targets for 29 yards and a touchdown in the Chiefs' Week 1 loss to the Titans.

He played more snaps than Travis Kelce, but the duo essentially shared time from a fantasy perspective, as Kelce was targeted five times to Fasano's six. Fasano looked noticeably slow in this game on a six-yard tight end screen. He's just not a quick-twitch mover. Fasano is a much better real-life than fantasy football player.
Sep 7 - 5:59 PM

Anthony Fasano caught 5-of-5 targets for 41 yards in the Chiefs' third preseason game Saturday night against Minnesota.

Fasano has become more of a roadblock to Travis Kelce than an independent fantasy option, but to this point the Chiefs have shown no signs of tweaking the depth chart. Fasano is the No. 1, and Kelce is the No. 2, mixing into two-tight end sets but never working as a featured player in Kansas City's passing attack. A lot of people want Kelce to break out this year, but it's conceivable Fasano's presence prevents that from happening fully.
Aug 23 - 11:48 PM

Anthony Fasano is listed as the starting tight end on the Chiefs' first official depth chart.

Fasano started all nine games he played in during an injury-plagued 2013, catching 23 passes for 200 yards with three TDs. He should be passed by Travis Kelce sooner rather than later. The talent gap between them is massive.
Aug 3 - 11:49 AM

Anthony Fasano caught two passes for six yards in Kansas City's Wild Card loss to the Colts.

It was a fittingly quiet capper to Fasano's injury-marred first year in Kansas City. Hobbled by knee and ankle woes, as well as a concussion, Fasano was limited to nine games. Going on 30, Fasano caught 23 passes for 200 yards and three touchdowns in the first year of a four-year, $16 million deal. He'll remain well off the fantasy radar for 2014.
Jan 4 - 9:34 PM

Anthony Fasano caught one pass for 19 yards in Week 16 versus the Colts.

Fasano was targeted four times on the afternoon. He hasn't been fantasy-relevant.

Anthony Fasano (concussion, knee) remained limited in Thursday's practice.

Fasano is on track to return for Week 15, but has yet to gain final clearance. He'd be a low-end TE2 against the Raiders.

Anthony Fasano (concussion/knee) was limited in Wednesday's practice.

Fasano missed last week due to a concussion and knee injury and is still in the league's concussion protocol. His return to practice puts him on track to play in Week 15.
Wed, Dec 11, 2013 01:18:00 PM

Chiefs declared TE Anthony Fasano, LT Branden Albert, QB Tyler Bray, OLB Justin Houston, C Eric Kush, OG Rishaw Johnson and DL Jaye Howard inactive for Week 14 against the Redskins.

It's a relatively quiet list for the Chiefs, who will start Donald Stephenson on the blindside in Albert's absence. Dealing with a concussion and knee injury, Fasano is week to week. Sean McGrath will start in his place, and is not a viable TE2.
