Anthony Fasano caught two passes for six yards in Kansas City's Wild Card loss to the Colts.
It was a fittingly quiet capper to Fasano's injury-marred first year in Kansas City. Hobbled by knee and ankle woes, as well as a concussion, Fasano was limited to nine games. Going on 30, Fasano caught 23 passes for 200 yards and three touchdowns in the first year of a four-year, $16 million deal. He'll remain well off the fantasy radar for 2014. Jan 4 - 9:34 PM

Anthony Fasano (concussion/knee) was limited in Wednesday's practice.

Fasano missed last week due to a concussion and knee injury and is still in the league's concussion protocol. His return to practice puts him on track to play in Week 15.

Chiefs declared TE Anthony Fasano, LT Branden Albert, QB Tyler Bray, OLB Justin Houston, C Eric Kush, OG Rishaw Johnson and DL Jaye Howard inactive for Week 14 against the Redskins.

It's a relatively quiet list for the Chiefs, who will start Donald Stephenson on the blindside in Albert's absence. Dealing with a concussion and knee injury, Fasano is week to week. Sean McGrath will start in his place, and is not a viable TE2.

Anthony Fasano (concussion, knee) remained out of Chiefs practice Thursday.

Fasano will most likely be out for Sunday's game against the Redskins, leaving starting tight end duties to Sean McGrath. McGrath filled in ably for Fasano earlier this season, but is barely on the TE2 radar.

Anthony Fasano (concussion, knee) is not practicing Wednesday.

Fasano got extremely banged up in the Week 13 loss to the Broncos and is very questionable to play against the Redskins this week. It would leave Sean McGrath as the starting tight end again.
Wed, Dec 4, 2013 12:55:00 PM

Anthony Fasano suffered a concussion and a "bit of a knee sprain" in Sunday's loss to Denver.

Fasano will have to go through the NFL's protocol concussion testing to have a chance to play in Week 14 against the Redskins. The knee sprain sounds like a day-to-day thing. If injury-plagued Fasano doesn't receive full clearance in time, the Chiefs would likely start Sean McGrath at tight end.
Mon, Dec 2, 2013 01:17:00 PM

Anthony Fasano caught three balls for 28 yards and a touchdown in the Chiefs' Week 13 loss to the Broncos.

Fasano is basically Scott Chandler Part II, a touchdown-dependent commodity who pays dividends as a streamer when and only when he scores a red-zone TD. He happened to do so this week. Will he next week against the Redskins? Your guess is as good as ours. Fasano never offers fantasy upside.
