Seahawks FB Michael Robinson and WR Ben Obomanu are seeing a specialist for their wrist injuries on Monday.
Both players were injured in Sunday's loss to the Lions. Robinson was a Pro Bowler last season, but Obomanu is primarily a special teams player. Seahawks signed FB Michael Robinson to a two-year, $5 million contract.

The versatile team leader is coming off his first Pro Bowl nod after paving the way for Marshawn Lynch's career-best 1,204 yards and 11 touchdowns. Robinson is also a special teams captain, recording 10 tackles, a forced fumble and a blocked punt return touchdown last season.

Seahawks FB Michael Robinson left Thursday's game in the fourth quarter with an apparent groin injury.

Robinson appeared to tweak his groin at the end of a six-yard catch-and-run. He was a major part of the passing game with four catches for 41 yards while also lead-blocking for Marshawn Lynch's 148-yard performance in just over three quarters.

Seahawks FB Michael Robinson could miss up to eight weeks with a high left ankle sprain.

NFL teams don't keep injured special teamers around on the game-day inactives list, so Robinson is a candidate for I.R. The Seahawks did have three or four fullbacks in their training camp and could re-sign one of them shortly.

The quick doubtful tag indicates a potentially serious injury, perhaps a high ankle sprain. Robinson is an occasional lead blocker and special teamer.

Robinson was down for a minute after taking a hit from Charles Tillman. He was able to walk off on his power and is questionable to return.

Seahawks declared RB Michael Robinson, CB Kelly Jennings, CB Walter Thurmond III, LB Matt McCoy, OL Allen Barbre, OT Russell Okung, DT Brandon Mebane, and TE Anthony McCoy inactive for Week 8.

The Seahawks are really thin on corners without Jennings and Thurmond. Unfortunately, the Raiders' No. 1 receiver in Week 8 will be Darrius Heyward-Bey. Expect a run-dominated game plan from Oakland on Sunday.

Seahawks RB Michael Robinson suffered a hamstring injury in Sunday's game against the Cardinals and will not return.

The extent is currently known, but the Seahawks' quick ruling out of Robinson doesn't bode well. Mostly a special teamer, the former Penn State quarterback has touched the ball just nine times on offensive snaps this season.

49ers released RB/FB Michael Robinson and CB Karl Paymah.

Robinson has been stuck in a special teams role since early in his rookie season of 2006. With 3.4 YPC average on 86 career totes, he won't attract any interest as a running back. Paymah has proven to be no more than a special teamer himself.

Newly minted backup RB Michael Robinson fumbled away the ball on the second play of Sunday's preseason opener against the Colts.

There's no need to overreact, but this certainly won't help the 49ers confidence in Robinson. He has 2 career fumbles in 86 regular season rushing attempts.

This has been a recurring injury for the versatile Robinson. He's not a factor on offense anyway. His status for Week 15 at the Eagles is unknown.

49ers RB/KR Michael Robinson left Sunday's loss to the Packers with a stinger and did not return.

Robinson suffered the stinger in his right shoulder/neck area. The Niners tried a fistful of players on returns with little success. Robinson's status for Week 12 against the Jaguars is unknown.
