Texans signed RB Andre Hall.

The Denver-to-Houston pipeline continues. Hall has experience in Kyle Shanahan's offense, but he's in camp for depth purposes. Arian Foster is out a couple of days with a hamstring tweak and Jeremiah Johnson is set to undergo shoulder surgery.

Broncos placed RB Andre Hall (wrist, ankle) on injured reserve, ending his season.

P.J. Pope may now be activated from the practice squad to be third string behind Selvin Young and Ryan Torain. Hall has been a decent role player for Denver the past two seasons, but is replaceable and has proven somewhat injury prone. He's certainly not a lock to be on the team in 2009.

Andre Hall (wrist, ankle) practiced on a limited basis Friday and is listed as questionable for Week 9.

If Hall plays against Miami, it will only be as a backup and on special teams. He's the least likely Denver runner to put up fantasy-worthy stats.

Andre Hall (ankle, wrist) was unable to practice on Thursday.

It looks like Hall may be the odd man out of Denver's backfield rotation with Ryan Torain returning. Whether Hall is active in a given week will likely come down to special teams play. He's worth dropping in 10-team leagues.

Broncos RB Andre Hall's ankle locked up during the early part of practice Wednesday and he didn't participate.

Hall says he'll "definitely" play in Week 9, but we'll see about that. With Ryan Torain returning, the Broncos probably won't keep four tailbacks on their game-day roster. Either Hall or Selvin Young will likely be inactive.

Andre Hall rushed two times for minus seven yards in Week 7.

Two carries and two fumbles in the first quarter turned Hall into only a special teamer thereafter. Hall should find his way to the back of the Broncos depth chart when Selvin Young and Ryan Torain are available after the Week 8 bye and he can be released in all leagues.

Andre Hall didn't receive a single carry in the Broncos Week 6 loss to the Jags.

Michael Pittman handled all of the rushing duties with Selvin Young out, and it's clear that Hall has fallen to a deep third on the depth chart. There's no reason for owners to hang onto Hall with Young due to return in Week 7.

Andre Hall carried five times for 13 yards and caught two balls for 17 yards in Denver's Week 5 win over Tampa Bay.

For as few touches as Hall is getting on a weekly basis, he will need to start hitting big plays to ever be worth a fantasy start.

Broncos coach Mike Shanahan said Monday that Andre Hall (wrist) "should be fine" going forward.

Hall's wrist was merely sprained, but he may be on this week's injury report. The former undrafted back is averaging 4.9 YPC on 27 total carries to date.

Andre Hall sprained his right wrist in the Broncos' Week 4 loss.

This explains his reduced workload in the game. Hall's status for Week 5 is unclear. Michael Pittman and Selvin Young would see more work if he's out.

Andre hall had four carries for 14 yards against the Chiefs.

Hall has the least fantasy value of the three Broncos RBs seeing playing time right now. Selvin Young gets the bulk of the snaps and Michael Pittman plays in most of the crucial situations. He's more likely to frustrate the owners of the other two players than bring your team much value.

Andre Hall rushed six times for 25 yards in Week 3 against the Saints.

Selvin Young is the starter and Michael Pittman is the short-yardage guy, leaving Hall as the change-of-pace back with the least fantasy upside. He's had 6-10 carries in each of the first three games.
Sun, Sep 21, 2008 08:25:00 PM

Andre Hall ran for 31 yards on seven carries in Week 2 against San Diego.

Selvin Young is a bit more explosive than Hall and is still starting over him with no known threat of being passed on the depth chart. Hall would be a risky play in any week until/if he lands a clearer role in the committee.
Sun, Sep 14, 2008 08:49:00 PM

Andre Hall came off the bench in Week 1 to lead Denver in carries, with ten, and rushed for 61 yards.

In theory, Hall is Denver's No. 2 back, but that's almost a negligible role if Michael Pittman remains the goal-line ace as he was Monday. Hang onto Hall, but how the Broncos' carries are divided could be guesswork going forward.
