It's unknown when Hodge, a backup on defense, got hurt. Constant injuries make the former third-round pick's long-term outlook quite bleak.

Ryan had to see this after Derrick Frost's signing. Ryan isn't a bad punter and will likely get a look elsewhere, possibly in Denver. Hodge's knee issues caught up with him. Desmond Bishop will back up Nick Barnett.

The once-promising third-round pick has fallen behind seventh-rounder Desmond Bishop and starter Nick Barnett at middle linebacker. Hodge had an excellent rookie camp, but hasn't made many big plays this time around.
