Packers DL coach Mike Trgovac expects the team to retain LE Ryan Pickett for the 2013 season.
Pickett, 33, brings essentially nothing to the table as a pass rusher, but he is a run-stuffing power pig at left end and nose tackle. "I think Ryan has some more football left in him. I really do," Trgovac said. "I think he definitely has another good year left in him." Pickett is owed $6.1 million in 2013. Jan 18 - 12:37 PM

The Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel indicates that Packers LE Ryan Pickett (ankle) is unlikely to be ready to play immediately after the team's Week 10 bye.

Packers LE Ryan Pickett left in the second quarter Sunday after aggravating his right ankle injury.

Pickett limped off the field and then went to the locker room. The initial X-rays came back negative, but additional X-rays are being performed. He's considered doubtful to return.
