Titans waived/injured WR Kevin Curtis.
Curtis' chances of making the roster in Tennessee went out the window when he broke his hand in the team's preseason finale. Since his breakout 2007 season with the Eagles, Curtis has appeared in just nine games, hauling in 40 catches for 473 yards. Interest in his services will be minimal once his hand heals up. The Titans are likely to release him with a settlement. Sat, Sep 3, 2011 02:09:00 PM

Titans WR Kevin Curtis suffered a broken bone in his left hand during the team's preseason finale Thursday night.

Curtis showed well in his one week on the roster, but this injury may send him to injured reserve. While no timetable for return has been given, broken hands are never good signs for wide receivers in battles just to make the 53.

Titans agreed to terms with WR Kevin Curtis and waived WR Joe Hills.

Once a deep threat, Curtis' speed has declined at age 33, and he's probably no more than a slot/fourth receiver candidate in a suddenly deep Titans receiver corps. Curtis has just six NFL receptions since the end of the 2008 season. Hills was a rookie from South Carolina. He didn't have a preseason catch.

The Chiefs have a contractual right of first refusal on free agent Kevin Curtis that was built into his deal when they signed him in January.

Curtis played 30 snaps in the Chiefs' playoff loss to the Ravens. The right of first refusal allows Kansas City to match all offers he'll receive on the open market. The 33-year-old shouldn't cost more than the veteran's minimum to sign.

Chiefs signed WR Kevin Curtis.

Curtis is unlikely to have a major impact in the playoffs. The 32-year-old managed just one catch for six yards in a two-game December stint with the Dolphins. He'll provide injury insurance as the Chiefs' sixth receiver.

Dolphins waived WR Kevin Curtis.

According to Pro Football Focus, Curtis played 38 of 69 snaps in Week 15 and 22 of 89 snaps in Week 16. He managed just one catch for six yards in the two games. Hopefully with a full offseason to train and an invitation to training camp, Curtis will get a longer look from another team in 2011.

Recently signed WR Kevin Curtis is expected to be active for the Dolphins in Week 15.

It shows just how little faith the team has in rookie wideouts Marlon Moore and Roberto Wallace. Curtis will try to show both the Dolphins and the league that he's healthy and deserves a contract for 2011.

Dolphins signed WR Kevin Curtis to a one-year contract.

Curtis has overcome testicular cancer to give his football career another try. He's been out of the league all year after missing all but three games last season because of a knee injury. The knee problems are still Curtis' biggest concern. They were a problem for him in both 2008 and 2009, and it's unclear what's left of his separation skills at age 32.

Free agent WR Kevin Curtis was reportedly forced to postpone workouts this week after undergoing an emergency root canal on Monday.

Curtis had hoped to sign with a team -- possibly the Giants -- this week to begin his NFL comeback. The 32-year-old had other visits lined up as well. He'll have to hold off on signing until Week 13.

Following the injury to Hakeem Nicks, the Giants are likely to bring back free agent WR Kevin Curtis for a second tryout.

Curtis worked out for the Giants last week and reportedly wants to sign with a team by Tuesday. There's a pretty decent chance the Giants will sign him, though they could choose to add Samuel Giguere from the practice squad instead. Curtis had surgery in September to remove a cancerous testicle, but he appears to be over that, as well as his knee issues.

Free agent Kevin Curtis is reportedly hoping to sign with a team by Tuesday.

Curtis, 32, has strung together a ton of tryouts over the past few days, visiting the Lions, Seahawks, and Giants. The G-Men no longer appear to be an option, but Curtis has history with Lions OC Scott Linehan and couldn't possibly be worse than current No. 3 receiver Bryant Johnson. If Curtis has as much ability left as he did in 2007, he'd be a better option than Nate Burleson.

In addition to the Giants, the Lions also worked out free agent WR Kevin Curtis this week.

Teams are simply kicking his tires to see how healthy he is after knee surgery and a bout with a cancerous testicle. Expect Curtis to continue his workout tour before he's signed.

The Giants worked out free agent WR Kevin Curtis Tuesday.

The Giants opted to sign Derek Hagan, who is familiar with the offense while also offering special teams ability. Curtis is 100 percent recovered from surgery to remove a cancerous testicle, but we still have doubts about the condition of his knee. Per Patricia Traina of Insidefootball.com, the workouts also included Brandon Jones, Patrick Williams, and Todd Watkins.

Free agent WR Kevin Curtis is looking to sign with a team after recovering from surgery to remove a cancerous testicle.

Curtis underwent the procedure in September, and he's been working out to stay in football shape. "Kevin is ready. He's feeling great," said Curtis' agent. "His knee is 100 percent and he’s already passed a physical. He's looking forward to playing." The Colts might be a nice match with all of their injuries at wideout.

Free agent WR Kevin Curtis underwent surgery on Sept. 23 to remove a cancerous testicle.

Curtis just came public with the information on Wednesday. The good news is that doctors caught the cancer early and there is no sign that it spread. Remarkably, he said he hopes to return to football this season and his agent will send a letter to all 32 teams to inform them of this. Curtis opened last season as a starting wide receiver in Philadelphia but ended up playing in just three games.
