Standeford will take over the fifth receiver/special teams role after Adam Jennings was placed on injured reserve last week. He won't be a fantasy option.

The former Purdue star caught 15 passes last season for the Lions, but never pushed his way up the depth chart this preseason. It didn't help that the Lions drafted Derrick Williams and traded for Dennis Northcutt.

The 6-4 Standeford set records at Purdue but has zero catches as a pro. Expect Indianapolis to draft a wide receiver early in April to compete.
