The agent for C Andy McCollum and G Adam Timmerman believes McCollum will be cut, while Timmerman should be back with the Rams.

Timmerman is due a $200,000 roster bonus on March 4, but the Rams feel he has some good years left. McCollum will be 37 during the upcoming season and is recovering from torn knee ligaments.

The 13-year vet made it through less than half of one game in 2006 before suffering the injury. McCollum, however, will be 37 next June and could take a backseat to Richie Incognito or even Brett Romberg.

McCollum is under contract through next year, but considering he'll be 37 and coming off knee surgery, this seems quite optimistic. Richie Incognito figures to be St. Louis' starting center for the next decade.

C Andy McCollum will undergo an MRI Monday on his injured left knee, but coach Scott Linehan said, "The prognosis right now doesn't look very good."

McCollum hasn't missed a game since 1995, but the Rams reportedly expect him to be sidelined for the remainder of the season. C Larry Turner replaced McCollum.
