Cardinals re-signed OT Pat McQuistan and waived CB Crezdon Butler.
Butler's release is a sign that CBs Michael Adams and Greg Toler are close to full health. McQuistan will give the Cardinals another option behind struggling starters D'Antony Batiste and Bobby Massie. Tue, Oct 16, 2012 07:37:00 PM

Cardinals signed OT Pat McQuistan, formerly of the Cowboys.

The seven-year veteran was among Dallas' final cuts. McQuistan appeared in only 10 games for the Saints last season — and has made just eight career starts — but will provide veteran depth for Arizona's woefully thin and inexperienced line. McQuistan could end up seeing heavy snaps in the desert.

Cowboys signed OT Pat McQuistan, formerly of the Saints.

They waived UDFA tackle Taylor Dever in a corresponding move. McQuistan will vie for Dallas' No. 3 job behind Doug Free, Tyron Smith, and Jermey Parnell.

The Cowboys worked out free agent G/T Pat McQuistan on Friday.

Dallas' seventh-round pick in the 2006 draft, McQuistan has bounced around the league and spent last season in New Orleans. He could be signed for depth.

Saints signed G/T Pat McQuistan.

McQuistan beat out ex-Seahawks tackle Ray Willis for the opportunity. He'll give the Saints some versatile depth with RT Zach Strief (knee) sidelined.

Titans waived G/T Pat McQuistan.

McQuistan offered the Titans starting experience, but they're moving on in favor of younger players with more upside. McQuistan will likely get an in-season call from someone. The 28-year-old made eight starts in Miami last year.

Titans signed G/T Pat McQuistan, formerly of the Dolphins.

McQuistan has the versatility that teams seek in backup offensive linemen, but not the skills of a starter. He's just depth for the Titans.

The Dolphins declined to tender G/T Pat McQuistan, making him an unrestricted free agent.

Acquired from the Cowboys last September for a late-round pick in this year's draft, McQuistan was a liability in eight spot starts at right guard and right tackle. He's versatile, but won't generate serious offers for starting jobs this spring.

Dolphins acquired OT Pat McQuistan from the Cowboys in exchange for an undisclosed draft pick.

Dallas must be confident in the full returns of Marc Colombo (knee) and Kyle Kosier (MCL sprain). McQuistan is reunited with Tony Sparano and Bill Parcells in Miami, where they've also collected former Cowboys linemen Joe Berger and Cory Procter. He'll add depth at tackle while Procter backs up at guard.

Cowboys re-signed restricted free agent OL Pat McQuistan to a one-year, $1.176 million contract.

McQuistan, 27, has made 40 appearances but zero starts since being drafted in the 2006 seventh round out of Weber State. He's at least outplayed his brother Paul, a second-round reach by Oakland (who else) in the same draft.

Cowboys extended an original draft-pick tender to restricted free agent OL Pat McQuistan.

Once considered a possible heir apparent to Flozell Adams, the former seventh rounder has been bypassed by Doug Free.

Despite speculation the Cowboys would move second-year OL Pat McQuistan to guard, he has been practicing at tackle this offseason.

McQuistan ran with the first team while Flozell Adams (knee) rehabbed. His roster spot seems safe despite James Marten and Doug Free's additions.

Cowboys moved Pat McQuistan to guard.

Once considered a longshot to possibly replace Flozell Adams, McQuistan will use his 6'5 frame on the inside. He'll probably play behind Kyle Kosier.

Cowboys agreed to terms with seventh-round G/T Pat McQuistan on a four-year contract.

McQuistan played college ball with his brother Paul, a Raiders third-rounder recently dubbed a rookie starter, at Weber State. Pat might have a tougher time securing a roster spot.
