The Packers "haven’t closed the door" on re-signing free agent John Kuhn.
There’s conflicting reports on whether the Packers still want Kuhn. Green Bay mostly removed him from the offense last year, but Kuhn was still one of the more effective fullbacks in the league, grading as a top-seven run blocker with PFF. 34-year-old Kuhn could return at the veteran minimum. ESPN's Rob Demovsky reports free agent FB John Kuhn is unsure of his Packers future.

Green Bay radio host Greg Matzek has reported the team is "moving on" from Kuhn, but per Demovsky, Kuhn hasn't been officially informed of anything. Going on 34, Kuhn has been the Packers' fullback since 2007, but struggled while playing a modest 307 snaps last season.

Packers re-signed FB John Kuhn to a one-year, $870,000 contract.

Kuhn's minimum contract includes a workout and Pro Bowl bonus. He's coming off a first-team All-Pro season. The man affectionately known as "Kuuuuhhhhhhhnnnnnn" posted a 24-85-1 rushing line on fullback dives.

The Packers remain interested in re-signing FB John Kuhn.

Kuhn hasn't had any visits since the start of free agency. He was a top-five lead blocker last year, making his second Pro Bowl. Kuhn should return on a team-friendly deal.

The Packers met with free agent FB John Kuhn's player rep at the Combine.

The sides reportedly have mutual interest in getting a deal done. Kuhn made his second Pro Bowl last year, but had a limited role on offense. The Packers should be able to bring him back on a team-friendly contract.

Packers FB John Kuhn plans to test free agency.

Kuhn made his second Pro Bowl this year despite playing just 249 snaps. He had to settle for a one-year deal with the Packers last offseason and could struggle to attract interest on the open market. Kuhn will most likely end up back in Green Bay on a team-friendly contract.

John Kuhn rushed twice for three yards in the Packers' NFC Championship Game loss to the Seahawks.

Kuhn added a three-yard reception. Kuhn's second rush was initially ruled a one-yard touchdown, but was reversed on review. Kuhn "vultured" only one score from Eddie Lacy this season, and offers as little fantasy value as ever. The 32-year-old fullback is headed to the open market. He'll most likely end up back in Green Bay.

John Kuhn scored a two-yard touchdown in Green Bay's Week 1 loss to the Seahawks.

The first quarter score was Kuhn's lone carry of the game. Kuhn may vulture 2-3 more scores this season, but is miles from fantasy relevance.

Packers re-signed FB John Kuhn to a one-year contract.

According to FOX Sports' Mike Garafolo, the deal is worth "just over" $1 million. With the Packers since 2007, Kuhn was one of the league's better lead blockers last season as the Pack re-established their run game with a vengeance. Although he's a rather infamous fantasy-football vulture, Kuhn has just two total touchdowns over the past two seasons. He turns 32 in September.

The Packers are "still in talks" with free agent FB John Kuhn.

Kuhn has more value in Green Bay than anywhere else, so the Packers should be able to get him back at their own price tag. Kuhn is not generating any known interest elsewhere. The 31-year-old played 20.3 snaps per game in 2013.

The Packers will allow free agent FB John Kuhn to reach the open market.

Kuhn has been a Packers mascot of sorts since arriving in 2007, specializing in short-yardage plunges. He's going on 32, however, and there's little reason for a team to ever pay more than the market will bear for a fullback.

The Packers haven't reached out to free agent FB John Kuhn yet.

The Pack did sign FB Ina Liaina to a reserve/futures contract Monday, but that doesn't necessarily mean they're moving on from Kuhn. The veteran was exceptional in his role again in 2013, not allowing a single sack as a third-down pass protector and paving the way for Eddie Lacy when asked to be a lead blocker. "You have a comfort level with John that's huge," quarterbacks coach Alex Van Pelt said. "That would be a hole we'd have to fill." As a part-time player, Kuhn likely understands he'll have to take a pay cut on the $2.35 million he made last season if he's back in Green Bay.

The Green Bay Press-Gazette believes the Packers would only be interested in re-signing free agent FB John Kuhn for the veteran minimum.

Kuhn played 320 offensive snaps this season, 10th-most among lead blockers. He was also the Packers' primary third-down back and didn't allow any sacks in pass protection, grading out as the No. 3 fullback by Pro Football Focus. "I think there's several factors that really go into who to sign with, where to sign, what value to sign at," Kuhn said. Entering his ninth season, Kuhn would cost roughly $855,000 to be brought back at the veteran minimum.

Packers FB John Kuhn rushed twice for two yards and a touchdown and caught two balls for 16 yards in Green Bay's playoff loss.

After Green Bay managed all of six first-quarter team yards, Kuhn was the recipient of the Packers' initial first down of the game, gaining eight on a second-quarter checkdown from Aaron Rodgers. Kuhn operated as the Packers' fullback and protection specialist on obvious passing downs, giving Eddie Lacy a blow. He vultured a one-yard touchdown early in the fourth quarter on a fullback dive, giving the Packers a 17-13 lead. Kuhn has now scored a TD in five straight playoff games. Kuhn is now eligible for unrestricted free agency.

John Kuhn (hamstring) is practicing Wednesday.

Aided by the bye week, Kuhn is on track to play against the Lions Sunday. He'll steal some third-down reps from workhorse Eddie Lacy.
