John Kuhn rushed three times for five yards and two touchdowns and caught two passes for seven yards and another score Week 4 against the Chargers.
Kuhn has long been a connoisseur of the vultured touchdown, but he outdid himself against the Chargers. After already stealing two short scores, Kuhn jumped in front of a wide-open Coby Fleener in the fourth quarter to literally intercept a touchdown before plunging in from one-yard out on the next play to rob Mark Ingram of a score. He managed to vulture BOTH Fleener and Ingram on the same drive. It was truly a special performance by an all-time master. Needless to say, Kuhn can be left on the wire. Oct 2 - 8:33 PM

Saints signed FB John Kuhn, formerly of the Packers.

The Packers moved on from Kuhn, but he was one of the top fullbacks in the league last year. He gives the Saints more versatility after they played without a lead blocker for most of 2015. Kuhn won't play a ton of snaps, but his signing should improve a rushing attack that ranked near the bottom of the league.
Aug 5 - 7:36 PM

Free agent FB John Kuhn said he is still "waiting for the phone to ring."

Kuhn added he hopes it is the Packers on the other side of the line, but all indications are they are moving on with Aaron Ripkowski. One of the better fullbacks in the league last season, it is surprising Kuhn is still available, but his age (34 in September) is likely working against him. Still, it would be surprising if he does not find a home during training camp.

The Packers "appear to have moved on" from free agent FB John Kuhn.

Kuhn quietly had one of the better seasons of his career last year, but he is going on 34 and the Packers want to move forward with Aaron Ripkowski. Kuhn logged a nearly 30-percent snap rate in 2015 and was PFF's No. 7 blocking fullback.

The Packers "haven’t closed the door" on re-signing free agent John Kuhn.

There’s conflicting reports on whether the Packers still want Kuhn. Green Bay mostly removed him from the offense last year, but Kuhn was still one of the more effective fullbacks in the league, grading as a top-seven run blocker with PFF. 34-year-old Kuhn could return at the veteran minimum.
May 13 - 7:41 PM

ESPN's Rob Demovsky reports free agent FB John Kuhn is unsure of his Packers future.

Green Bay radio host Greg Matzek has reported the team is "moving on" from Kuhn, but per Demovsky, Kuhn hasn't been officially informed of anything. Going on 34, Kuhn has been the Packers' fullback since 2007, but struggled while playing a modest 307 snaps last season.
May 12 - 2:01 PM

Packers re-signed FB John Kuhn to a one-year, $870,000 contract.

Kuhn's minimum contract includes a workout and Pro Bowl bonus. He's coming off a first-team All-Pro season. The man affectionately known as "Kuuuuhhhhhhhnnnnnn" posted a 24-85-1 rushing line on fullback dives.

The Packers remain interested in re-signing FB John Kuhn.

Kuhn hasn't had any visits since the start of free agency. He was a top-five lead blocker last year, making his second Pro Bowl. Kuhn should return on a team-friendly deal.

The Packers met with free agent FB John Kuhn's player rep at the Combine.

The sides reportedly have mutual interest in getting a deal done. Kuhn made his second Pro Bowl last year, but had a limited role on offense. The Packers should be able to bring him back on a team-friendly contract.

Packers FB John Kuhn plans to test free agency.

Kuhn made his second Pro Bowl this year despite playing just 249 snaps. He had to settle for a one-year deal with the Packers last offseason and could struggle to attract interest on the open market. Kuhn will most likely end up back in Green Bay on a team-friendly contract.

John Kuhn rushed twice for three yards in the Packers' NFC Championship Game loss to the Seahawks.

Kuhn added a three-yard reception. Kuhn's second rush was initially ruled a one-yard touchdown, but was reversed on review. Kuhn "vultured" only one score from Eddie Lacy this season, and offers as little fantasy value as ever. The 32-year-old fullback is headed to the open market. He'll most likely end up back in Green Bay.

John Kuhn scored a two-yard touchdown in Green Bay's Week 1 loss to the Seahawks.

The first quarter score was Kuhn's lone carry of the game. Kuhn may vulture 2-3 more scores this season, but is miles from fantasy relevance.
Fri, Sep 5, 2014 12:57:00 AM

Packers re-signed FB John Kuhn to a one-year contract.

According to FOX Sports' Mike Garafolo, the deal is worth "just over" $1 million. With the Packers since 2007, Kuhn was one of the league's better lead blockers last season as the Pack re-established their run game with a vengeance. Although he's a rather infamous fantasy-football vulture, Kuhn has just two total touchdowns over the past two seasons. He turns 32 in September.

The Packers are "still in talks" with free agent FB John Kuhn.

Kuhn has more value in Green Bay than anywhere else, so the Packers should be able to get him back at their own price tag. Kuhn is not generating any known interest elsewhere. The 31-year-old played 20.3 snaps per game in 2013.
Mon, Mar 24, 2014 03:35:00 PM

The Packers will allow free agent FB John Kuhn to reach the open market.

Kuhn has been a Packers mascot of sorts since arriving in 2007, specializing in short-yardage plunges. He's going on 32, however, and there's little reason for a team to ever pay more than the market will bear for a fullback.
