Pro Bowl coaches are permitted to pick one player at a position where they think the need is greatest. DeOssie was Reid's long snapper pick to work with teammates Jeff Feagles and John Carney.

Giants signed fourth-round pick LB Zak DeOssie to an undisclosed contract.

It's a probably a four-year deal, but we don't have details yet. The Brown graduate is known as an instinctive player with underrated athleticism. DeOssie is expected to long snap as a rookie and help out as a backup linebacker.
