Peterson has done next to nothing aside from get hurt in his three-year career, but is at least built like a 3-4 end at 6'5/290. The Skins need bodies.

Peterson, a project out of North Carolina Central, was transitioned inside after starring at defensive end in Division I-AA. He had a solid rookie year for being a raw fifth-round pick. Nicholson will focus on special teams.
