Bucs agreed to terms with DT Derek Landri, formerly of the Eagles, on a two-year, $3.25 million contract.
Landri, 29, made 18 tackles and appeared in all 16 games, starting seven, for the Eagles last season. His best season came in 2010 when he was a 16-game starter and registered 43 tackles and three sacks. Landri could be asked to step in and start next to Gerald McCoy after the Bucs lost Roy Miller in free agency. Ideally, he'd be a rotational reserve. Mar 30 - 5:14 PM

Free agent DT Derek Landri is not expected to re-sign with the Eagles.

Acting as a backup tackle, Landri managed just 39 tackles and two sacks over the last two seasons. The Eagles will move forward with Fletcher Cox, Cedric Thornton, and Antonio Dixon as the interior lineman in their new 3-4 or 4-3 "under" scheme. It's a position they're sure to add talent to via both the draft and free agency.

Eagles re-signed DT Derek Landri to a one-year contract.

Landri drew interest from the Bucs, but was otherwise greeted by a soft market. Unsigned until October, Landri notched 21 tackles and two sacks in 12 games last season, and acquitted himself well against the run. He played just 355 snaps, however, and will be ticketed for a rotational role again in 2012.

The Bucs have begun showing interest in free agent DT Derek Landri.

Landri is considered a fallback option if the Bucs fail to land DT Amobi Okoye, who is drawing interest from several teams. The 28-year-old Landri impressed as a rotational tackle in Philly last season.

The player rep for free agent DT Derek Landri says he hopes to remain in Philadelphia, and that the Eagles have expressed interest in re-signing him.

Speaking at the Combine Thursday, Eagles GM Howie Roseman hinted he'd like Landri back. Waived in September, Landri tallied 21 tackles and two sacks in 12 games as a rotational lineman after being re-signed in October.

The Philadelphia Inquirer expects the Eagles to attempt to re-sign free agent DT Derek Landri.

One of the Eagles' final cuts in September, Landri was brought back in early October and played well in a reserve role, notching 21 tackles and two sacks in 12 games. A five-year veteran, Landri has 102 tackles and eight sacks in 63 career games.

Eagles re-signed DT Derek Landri.

The move comes after DT Antonio Dixon tore his triceps Sunday. Landri was one of the Eagles' final cuts last month. He appeared in all 16 games for the Panthers in 2010, notching 43 tackles and three sacks. With the Eagles dealing with multiple injuries along their defensive line, Landri will likely see action this weekend.

The Falcons will work out free agent DT Derek Landri on Tuesday.

Landri would presumably provide insurance for DT Corey Peters, who has been making a slow recovery from a knee injury. Landri appeared in all 16 games for the Panthers a year ago, notching 30 tackles and three sacks.

Eagles released DTs Derek Landri and Anthony Hargrove.

Landri is a bit of a surprise as he was Philly's third-best defensive tackle in preseason action. Both veterans are vested, which means the Eagles could opt to bring them back after the first week of the season.

Eagles agreed to terms with DT Derek Landri on a one-year contract.

Landri visited the Broncos last week, but they ended up aiming higher with Ty Warren and Philly's own Brodrick Bunkley. With Bunkley gone and Trevor Laws sidelined, the Eagles were in the market for veteran insurance at defensive tackle. Landri won't be any higher than fourth on the depth chart behind Cullen Jenkins, Antonio Dixon, and Mike Patterson.

The Broncos will host free agent DT Derek Landri on Friday.

Landri played starter's snaps for Carolina last season, grading out well below average in Pro Football Focus' player ratings. The Broncos should be aiming higher at defensive tackle, but Landri can at least take on a rotational role.

Panthers claimed DT Derek Landri off waivers from the Jaguars.

A worthwhile pickup for Carolina. At 282 pounds, Landri won't solve the Panthers' run defense woes, but he is more explosive than current backup "three technique" Nick Hayden. He's also signed cheaply through 2010.

Jaguars waived DT Derek Landri.

Landri has been a game-day inactive of late, falling out of favor with the Jags using more of a "3-4" look this season.

Jaguars declared DL Derek Landri, DL Greg Peterson, LB Justin Durant, OG Maurice Williams, OL Paul McQuistan, CB Rashean Mathis, WR Tiquan Underwood and OT Tra Thomas inactive for Week 11.

The Jaguars are taking on the Bills in a wet and windy Buffalo.

Rookie Jaguars DT Derek Landri may fill in once again for injured starter John Henderson against the Patriots Saturday.

Landri replaced Henderson last week and created two turnovers and a sack. Henderson's status will be updated later this week.
