Former Colts and Jaguars LB Clint Session has been sued by his ex-girlfriend and mother of his daughter, Davia Bradshaw, for failing to pay child support for their special-needs daughter.
Session's three-year old daughter has cerebral palsy, encephalopathy, and a brain defect. It's left her "unable to walk, nearly blind, and unable to eat normal food." She requires thousands of dollars of care per month, and Session has refused to contribute. Recently taken to court, Session attempted to hide that he actually had the money to send Bradshaw, claiming he couldn't afford it. Afterward, it was revealed he spent $850,000 on a new house and bought his new girlfriend a Mercedes. Session has now been ordered to pay Bradshaw $6,900 per month. Session is in the running for Worst Dad of the Year. Jul 21 - 4:59 PM

Jaguars waived LB Clint Session and WR/TE Maurice Stovall.

FB Will Ta'ufo'ou was signed in a corresponding move. On the PUP list all season, Session had no timetable for a return following a trio of 2011 concussions. His career may well be over after the Jags signed him to a five-year, $29 million contract following the lockout. Stovall was a special teamer in Jacksonville.

Jaguars placed WLB Clint Session (concussions) and DE John Chick (knee) on reserve/PUP.

Session sustained three concussions in 2011 and had a severe one in college. Much like Jahvid Best and Austin Collie, he's wisely exercising extreme caution now. The Jags will be forced to roll with Russell Allen at weak-side linebacker. He had 38 tackles, one interception and two forced fumbles in six starts last season.

Jaguars coach Mike Mularkey indicated as training camp started that WLB Clint Session (concussions) has no timetable for return.

Mularkey sounded like Session might miss the entire season. "It's definitely a concern," said the new Jaguars' coach. "We don't know the future with him." The Jags overpaid Session to the tune of $29 million over five years last offseason, with $11.5 million guaranteed. He appeared in ten games in 2011.

Jaguars WLB Clint Session (concussion) has still not been cleared to practice.

Session sustained three concussions last year before his season ended in November. He also had a "terrifying" concussion in college. Beat writer Vito Stellino suggests that Session's career could be in jeopardy. Russell Allen is the backup at weak-side linebacker.

Jaguars WLB Clint Session insists he feels better now than he did before a trio of concussions ended his season prematurely in November.

Session also had a "terrifying" concussion in college, and estimates five in his playing career. He's finally feeling better after an "active" concussion rehab program at the University of Pittsburgh to aid the healing process. Although the 27-year-old struggled a bit in coverage, he was a key component of Jacksonville's improved run defense in the first half of the season. His healthy return will send Russell Allen back to a reserve role in 2012.

Jaguars placed OLB Clint Session (head) on injured reserve, ending his season.

Session was forced from last week's game with a concussion that must have set off alarms among the Jaguars' medical staff. It was his second concussion since the preseason. A key cog in Jacksonville's vastly improved defense over the first 10 weeks, Session recorded 30 tackles, one sack, and one forced fumble prior to the injury. As long as he checks out medically, Session will return as a starter in 2012.

Jaguars agreed to terms with OLB Clint Session on a five-year, $30 million contract.

Linebackers are cleaning house on this year's market, thanks in large part to Jacksonville. Session will receive $11.5 million guaranteed on top of MLB Paul Posluszny's $15 million in guarantees. The Jags reportedly "love" Session, and the Colts' leading tackler from 2009 will start on the weak side opposite Daryl Smith in a revamped linebacking corps. GM Gene Smith must now turn his attention to acquiring a safety.

The Jaguars have reportedly begun negotiating with free agent LB Clint Session.

The Colts leading tackler in 2009 and an impact player when healthy, Session would be an upgrade on free agent Kirk Morrison at weak-side linebacker. Indy may not seriously compete to re-sign Session with Pat Angerer waiting in the wings.

Colts extended tenders to WLB Clint Session, DT Daniel Muir, and DT Eric Foster as restricted free agents.

Session drew a second-round tender, according to his agent. The offers to Session and Muir are unlikely to hold up, as both have accrued four NFL seasons. Foster is legitimately restricted as a three-year player.

Colts coach Jim Caldwell is "not real sure yet" if WLB Clint Session (elbow), CB Kelvin Hayden (neck), or DT Dan Muir (chest) will play against the Jets this week.

All three players were missing for Tuesday's media session, which typically bodes poorly for their chances of playing. Beat writer Phillip Wilson expects Hayden to sit out, with Session and Muir closer to returning. The Colts run defense has stiffened of late even without Session and Muir.

Colts WLB Clint Session (elbow) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Titans.

Session will rest up in the hopes his team can clinch a playoff berth without him. Kavell Connor will start on the weak side against the Titans today. It's a big downgrade for the Colts.

Colts WLB Clint Session (elbow) believes he will be able to play in Week 17 against the Titans

An impact player when healthy, Session has been so for only five games this year, though he's racked up 38 tackles (31 solo) and a sack in those efforts. His return would let rookie Pat Angerer move back to the strong side.
Wed, Dec 29, 2010 01:19:00 PM

Colts LB Clint Session didn't travel with the team to California, and will miss Week 16 against the Raiders.

Tyjuan Hagler will again fill in for Session, who hasn't suited up since Week 8. The 7-7 Raiders will be playing for their playoff lives on Sunday, and will aim to take advantage of the Colts' 28th-ranked rush defense by instituting a ball control attack in an effort to keep Peyton Manning off the field as long as possible.
Sat, Dec 25, 2010 08:08:00 PM

Colts owner Jim Irsay said team doctors are "ready to clear" WLB Clint Session (elbow) to return to practice.

His status for the mammoth Week 15 game against the Jaguars won't be known until later this week, but it sounds like his recovery is headed in the right direction. Tyjuan Hagler has been filling in for Session on the weak side.
