The Titans "may bring back" free agent DE Keyunta Dawson.

Dawson appeared in just three games last season before landing on injured reserve with a hamstring injury. He made three tackles, but Tennessee liked Dawson's preseason work that saw him register seven tackles and three sacks. He won't make anything more than the minimum on his next contract.

Titans placed DE Keyunta Dawson (hamstring) on injured reserve, ending his season.

The hamstring injury Dawson sustained in Week 3 sounds like it was of the Grade 3 variety. The Titans didn't want to tie up a roster spot for him, so he's gone and Pannel Egboh is in as a rotational end.

A rotational end, Dawson has played fewer than 20 percent of the defensive snaps through three games. He could be a candidate for injured reserve.

The Lions' formidable defensive line is healthy while their secondary is really banged up. Dawson had one tackle in two games with the Lions since signing on in late November.

The Lions were granted a roster exemption during Ndamukong Suh's suspension. Dawson, who was with the Lions in camp, can play both end and tackle. He'll provide depth with DE Lawrence Jackson (thigh) still nagging.

Lions signed DL Keyunta Dawson, formerly of the Colts.

A versatile swing lineman throughout his career, Dawson figures to play end in the Lions' 4-3 scheme. The 2007 seventh-round pick played in all 16 games for the Colts last year, recording 31 tackles and no sacks.

Keyunta Dawson and Eric Foster are candidates to replace Raheem Brock, according to the Indianapolis Star.

Fili Moala, the team's second-round pick in 2009, doesn't appear ready yet. Foster is dealing with some legal issues now, but will probably be the Colts' best option if he can avoid league discipline. The Colts are also expected to address the defensive line in this week's NFL draft.

The Colts have moved former DT Keyunta Dawson back to his college position -- defensive end.

Dawson was a starting three-technique tackle under Tony Dungy, but the Colts are getting bigger on the interior line. He'll struggle for snaps at end.

Colts DL Keyunta Dawson indicated to the team's website that his position has yet to be determined.

He made 42 stops in 14 starts at tackle last season. At 6'3/254 however, Dawson has the build of an end, where he played at Texas Tech. The Colts are trying to get bigger in the middle, so Dawson's snaps could decrease.

Colts DT Keyunta Dawson will miss at least two weeks with a hamstring strain.

Dawson is used as a rotational three technique. His backup is bigger, so Dawson's absence won't help Cedric Benson's matchup in Week 14.

Colts DT Keyunta Dawson limped off the field near the end of the second half against the Browns.

The team is calling it a hamstring injury and say his return is questionable. The Colts already lost Gary Brackett to an ankle injury earlier in the game and can't afford too many more defensive injuries.

Colts DT Keyunta Dawson missed his second straight practice Thursday with a high ankle sprain.

His backup, Daniel Muir, also missed with a knee injury. Dawson is confident that he'll play, but this is shaping up as a nice "get well quickly" game for Maurice Jones Drew and Fred Taylor.
