Raiders signed DT Daniel Muir.

Muir, 30, continues to find a way to hang around the league. He's been with the Colts, Rams, Colts again, Packers, Jets, Chiefs, Texans, and now Raiders since 2011. Muir is nothing more than veteran depth for the Raiders.

Chiefs signed DT Daniel Muir to a reserve/future contract.

Muir's signing is the first of new GM John Dorsey's tenure. Muir played three games with the Jets in 2012 after spending four seasons with the Colts. The 29-year-old will be fighting for a backup job in training camp.

Jets signed DT Daniel Muir.

Released at final cuts by the Packers, Muir will provide veteran depth along the defensive line with NT Sione Pouha's back continuing to be an issue. A six-year veteran, Muir is just two years removed from starting 14 games for the Colts.

Packers released DT Daniel Muir.

It's a mild surprise considering Mike Neal's four-game suspension. Phillip Merling now looks like a good bet to stick with the Packers.

Packers signed DT Daniel Muir, formerly of the Colts.

Muir, 28, goes 6-foot-2, 312 and will likely compete for a roster spot at nose tackle behind B.J. Raji. Muir is a journeyman, No. 5 defensive tackle type.

Colts waived DT Daniel Muir and CB Prince Miller.

It's perhaps a sign that rookie Drake Nevis is over his back injury. Once could argue that Muir was outplaying Antonio Johnson and Fili Moala, however. Signed a week ago, Prince Miller didn't contribute in the return game against the Falcons.

Colts signed DT Daniel Muir, formerly of the Rams.

Muir was amongst the Rams' final cuts. He appeared in 36 games for the Colts between 2008 and 2010, notching 93 tackles and 0.5 sacks. He'll provide depth along a defensive line that lost Eric Foster for the season last Monday and is currently missing Drake Nevis.

Rams agreed to terms with DT Daniel Muir on a one-year, $1.85 million contract.

The Rams showed surprisingly little interest in Barry Cofield, but they've now added Muir and Justin Bannan on the interior. Pro Football Focus' 77th-rated defensive tackle with the Colts last year, Muir is likely ticketed for a rotational role behind Bannan and Fred Robbins.

Free agent DT Daniel Muir is reportedly drawing interest from the Broncos and Rams.

Not exactly consolation for losing out on Brandon Mebane. The Broncos are interested in seemingly every defensive tackle available, so their inclusion is no surprise. Muir is more of a rotational tackle than starter-caliber.

Colts DT Dan Muir didn't travel with the Colts to Oakland, and will miss Week 16 against the Raiders.

Ricardo Mathews will start on the left side of Indy's defensive line, and will have his hands full stopping powerful RBs Darren McFadden and Michael Bush.

Colts re-signed restricted free agent DT Daniel Muir to a one-year, $1.759 million contract.

A former undrafted free agent out of Kent State, Muir emerged as a starter and every-down player for Indy last season, racking up an impressive 52 tackles. While fellow first-team DT Antonio Johnson should get a push from Fili Moala, Muir's starting job will likely be secure heading to training camp.

Colts claimed DT Daniel Muir off waivers from the Packers.

Muir (6'2/298) is an interior pass rusher and adds some needed depth with Raheem Brock switching outside. He'll be Indy's fourth tackle this season.
