Chargers released S Quinton Teal, OG Cam Stephenson, P Glenn Pakulak, and K Nick Novak.

Teal has bounced around as a special teamer the past two seasons. Novak and Pakulak were merely camp legs.

Rookie SS Darrell Stuckey has missed six days of practice with a groin injury, so the formerly undrafted Teal will work as a camp body until Stuckey heals.

Seahawks signed S Quinton Teal, formerly of the Panthers.

Teal, 26, appeared in seven games last season, recording five tackles in kickoff coverage. He'll have to make Seattle's final roster as a gunner only.

The Panthers opted not to tender S Quinton Teal, making him an unrestricted free agent.

Though he did have 20 tackles last year, the Panthers envision Teal as a special teamer only. They weren't going to give him a $1.01 million salary.
