Ravens signed C Jeremy Zuttah to a two-year contract.
Zuttah was traded by Baltimore to San Francisco early in the offseason, but Zuttah didn't fit in out west and was released last week. He lands back with the Ravens after making the Pro Bowl last year and grading out as Pro Football Focus' No. 14 center out of 37 qualifiers. Zuttah will slide right back in there and help prop up a line that just lost LG Alex Lewis for the season. Aug 18 - 12:30 PM

The Baltimore Sun reports the Ravens are "close to a deal" with free agent C Jeremy Zuttah.

The Ravens have heated up talks with Zuttah after his Indy visit. The Colts are "still in the picture," but it would be surprising if Zuttah didn't return to Baltimore after a Pro Bowl 2016. Zuttah's multiple team interest should land him some guaranteed money.

Free agent C Jeremy Zuttah will visit the Colts this week.

Zuttah was reportedly deep in talks with the Ravens, his former team, late last week, but those apparently have broken down. With Ryan Kelly out a "few weeks" with a foot injury, the Colts could use some depth at center. It looks like Zuttah will find a new home soon.

The Baltimore Sun reports talks between the Ravens and free agent C Jeremy Zuttah "have heated up."

The Ravens are desperate for offensive line help with LG Alex Lewis out for the season. Zuttah is an obvious fit after making the Pro Bowl in OC Marty Mornhinweg's scheme last year and could be brought back at a reduced salary. Signing Zuttah would allow the Ravens to move Ryan Jensen to guard.

49ers released C/G Jeremy Zuttah.

Zuttah, 31, made the Pro Bowl with the Ravens last season but was going to be cut by Baltimore before he was dealt to the 49ers in March. Recently, Zuttah had been working with the second- and third-team lines at both center and guard. The Niners are rolling with Daniel Kilgore at center. Zuttah should get another chance.

49ers acquired C Jeremy Zuttah from the Ravens for a sixth-round draft pick.

The 49ers are swapping sixth-round picks, with the Ravens moving up 12 spots. Zuttah was going to be released, but the trade keeps him off the market. San Francisco will take on the remaining two years and $9.2 million of Zuttah's contract.

Ravens released C Jeremy Zuttah.

The writing was on the wall for this one, though Zuttah had a strong season in 2016, getting named to the Pro Bowl and grading out as Pro Football Focus' No. 14 center out of 37 qualifiers. He received extremely strong marks for his run blocking. After losing RT Rick Wagner in free agency, the Ravens have yet another hole to fill on the offensive line. Zuttah turns 31 in June.

The Ravens can create $2.3 million in cap room by releasing C Jeremy Zuttah.

Zuttah is firmly on the bubble as the Ravens look to shake things up a bit after missing the playoffs for the second straight season. Zuttah turns 31 this summer and is an undersized center at right around 300 pounds. He was PFF's No. 14 center out of 37 qualifiers in 2016, grading out well in run blocking.

Ravens placed C Jeremy Zuttah on injured reserve with a torn pectoral, ending his season.

Zuttah went down in the Week 10 loss to the Jaguars. John Urschel will take over as the Ravens' starting center the rest of the way. Zuttah turns 30 next June and was signed to an extension through 2018 when Baltimore acquired him from the Bucs in March of 2014. Prior to going down, Zuttah had graded out as PFF's No. 8 center, excelling both in the run and pass games.

Ravens converted $1.628 million of C Jeremy Zuttah's 2015 base salary into a signing bonus.

The move creates $1.221 million in cap space for 2015. The Ravens will likely use the extra room to bring in secondary or wide receiver help.

Ravens C Jeremy Zuttah (hip surgery) is full-go for training camp.

Zuttah went under the knife in February, and progressed without setbacks. Heading into his age-29 season, Zuttah graded out as Pro Football Focus' No. 17 overall center in 2014.

Ravens C Jeremy Zuttah (hip surgery) is expected to be full-go for training camp.

Zuttah was limited to individual drills at mandatory minicamp. He hasn’t had any setbacks from his February clean-up. Zuttah's Week 1 status isn't in doubt.

Ravens C Jeremy Zuttah recently had surgery to remove bone spurs from his hip.

The procedure was described as a "clean-up" operation. Zuttah played well in his first season with Baltimore, only allowing one sack. One of the Ravens' best run blockers, Zuttah should be ready for the start of next season.

The Baltimore Sun reports C Jeremy Zuttah's new deal with the Ravens runs through 2018.

Financial terms are not yet available. Zuttah is still only 28 (in June), but he won't be the Ravens' center for the next five years if he doesn't improve on his 2013, where he was essentially replacement level in the middle. All the Ravens care about right now is that Zuttah is a (major) upgrade on Gino Gradkowski.

Ravens acquired C Jeremy Zuttah from the Buccaneers in exchange for a fifth-round pick in the 2015 NFL draft.

They're also signing him to a long-term deal. Zuttah, 28 in June, is a Rutgers alum who was on the outs in Tampa after Greg Schiano's departure. He ranked 22nd among 35 qualifying centers in Pro Football Focus' 2013 ratings, while incumbent Ravens C Gino Gradkowski came in dead last at 35th. Zuttah isn't an All Pro, but he's a stable addition to a Baltimore line that got rag-dolled last season. Zuttah also ran a sub-5.00 forty time coming out and is a big athletic upgrade. He's a strong fit for new OC Gary Kubiak's zone-blocking scheme.
