Steelers waived WR Kenneth Moore, WR Eric Greenwood, and TE Vaughn Charlton.
It was just a year ago that Moore was pushing for a starting job in Carolina, but that was always more about the Panthers' lack of alternatives than Moore's talent level. He has just one NFL reception in three years. Sun, Aug 28, 2011 05:54:00 PM

Steelers signed WR Kenny Moore and waived WR Adam Mims.

Moore has one career reception since the Lions used a fifth-round pick on him in 2008. He won't make the roster. Mims was undrafted out of Furman.

Colts waived WR Kenneth Moore.

Moore had been doing some kick and punt returning but wasn't seeing any action on offense. He's a decent special teams player but sealed his fate when he fumbled twice (losing one) Sunday night.

Colts WR Kenny Moore appears to have won the team's kick returner job.

The Colts currently rank 21st in the NFL in kick returns with an average of 22.2 yards. Moore had a great training camp but failed to crack the Panthers' final roster, and should serve exclusively on special teams for the Colts.

Colts signed WR Kenny Moore.

Moore comes with special teams experience, which gives him and advantage over Blair White with Pierre Garcon (hamstring) and Anthony Gonzalez (ankle) both missing time. Moore hit the football lottery, going from Matt Moore and Jimmy Clausen to Peyton Manning.

Panthers released WR Kenneth Moore.

Moore came out of the gate sizzling at camp while Steve Smith (arm) was sidelined, but quickly fizzled. When you fall behind names like Dwayne Jarrett and Charly Martin on the depth chart, you know you're in trouble. There isn't a team in the league as thin as the Panthers at wide receiver, so this is a big blow to Moore's career.

Panthers WR Kenny Moore has "disappeared" since the first week of camp, and may now be on the roster bubble.

Moore took advantage of Steve Smith's broken arm to burst out of the gates at camp, but that was never going to last. He's shown mediocre skills and tepid improvement since being drafted in the fifth round of the 2008 draft. Moore and Charly Martin could be battling for one spot.

Kenny Moore, who is subbing for Steven Smith (arm), has been a standout at Panthers' camp so far.

According to beat writer Darin Gantt, "If Moore keeps practicing the way he has, and blocks with vigor, he's going to make a strong case for a starting job when Steve Smith comes back." The battle between Brandon LaFell and Dwayne Jarrett is already tilting toward the rookie, and Moore's play could end up pushing Jarrett right off the roster.

Panthers beat writer Darin Gantt expects Kenneth Moore to take Steve Smith's (broken arm) place with the first-team offense in training camp.

He'd be getting the nod over promising rookie Armanti Edwards, indicating the Panthers are focusing on letting Edwards learn the slot rather than split end. While we don't have high hopes for Moore's fantasy stock, it's a big opportunity for the former Wake Forest Demon Deacon. Rookie Brandon LaFell will continue to push Dwayne Jarrett to start at flanker.

Kenny Moore has impressed Panthers receivers coach Tyke Tolbert so far this spring.

Moore, a fifth-round pick in 2008, is fighting for a roster spot as a backup at all receiver positions. With the Panthers drafting Brandon LaFell and Armanti Edwards, Moore will have his hands full. He has six career catches even though the Panthers have been desperate for a No. 2 receiver to emerge for the last couple of years.

Panthers re-signed exclusive rights free agent WR Kenny Moore to a one-year, $470,000 contract.

The Panthers have a gaping hole at No. 2 receiver, but Moore is going to have to improve significantly to earn snaps, let alone make the team. He had chances to produce late last season, but was outplayed badly by Dwayne Jarrett. The Panthers also re-signed three other exclusive rights free agents: WR Charly Martin, DT Nick Hayden and LB Jordan Senn.

The Panthers tendered exclusive rights free agent WRs Kenneth Moore and Charly Martin, LB Jordan Senn, and DT Nick Hayden.

All will be on the roster bubble this offseason. Moore was ahead of Dwayne Jarrett on Carolina's depth chart for much of last season, but Jarrett was far more productive in the actual games. Senn is a special teams prospect.

Despite starting opposite Muhsin Muhammad for the Panthers, Kenneth Moore was held catch-less in Week 17.

He saw a single target, while Muhammad and "backup" Dwayne Jarrett combined for 153 yards and one touchdown on 12 catches. Moore clearly isn't much of an NFL receiver and will be squarely on the roster bubble in 2010.

Kenny Moore is expected to start in Week 17 with Steve Smith (broken forearm) out.

Matt Moore will be throwing to the imposing wideout duo of Muhsin Muhammad and Kenny Moore against the Saints. Moore, in his second-year out of Wake Forest, has six catches in his career. Look for another decidedly run-heavy game plan from the Panthers, whether or not DeAngelo Williams plays.
Mon, Dec 28, 2009 08:58:00 AM

WR Kenneth Moore will be the team's kick returner on Sunday with rookie Mike Goodson (concussion) out.

Moore also has three catches for 25 yards on the season, as he is the team's third receiver ahead of Dwayne Jarrett
