Free agent DE Alex Hall visited the Titans on Wednesday.

Hall has made only two appearances since the end of the 2009 season, both of which came in 2010. He spent the past two seasons in the CFL. Hall would be an extreme long-shot to crack the Titans' 53-man roster.

Giants waived DE Alex Hall.

Hall is still just 26 years old and has pass-rush ability, but got caught up in a numbers game with New York. He's a prime candidate for a waiver claim.

Giants re-signed LB/DE Alex Hall.

Hall will give the team some depth and special teams help with Clint Sintim (torn ACL) out for the season.

Giants released LB/DE Alex Hall.

He was unable to stick with the Giants after being claimed off waivers less than a month ago. Hall is out of practice squad eligibility and could be claimed off waivers by another club.

Giants claimed LB/DE Alex Hall off waivers from the Cardinals.

Hall, a 25-year-old pass rusher, was with the G-Men for less than a week in training camp. He'll back up Keith Bulluck at strong-side linebacker.

Cardinals released OLB Alex Hall.

Hall was signed in September as a project player, but was released to make room for LB Gerald Jones. He could resurface elsewhere, though he needs to be in a 3-4 system.

Cardinals signed OLB Alex Hall.

Formerly a pass-rushing prospect with the Browns, Hall was dealt to the Eagles in the Sheldon Brown/Chris Gocong trade only to be released before training camp. He's a worthwhile project for a 3-4 team in need of a situational pass rusher like Arizona.

Giants released OLB Alex Hall.

The Giants claimed Hall off waivers just before camp, but it always seemed like an odd fit. Eagles coach Andy Reid even admitted that Hall fits much better in a 3-4 when he released the former Brown. The Cardinals and Patriots have shown interest before and could very well show interest in Hall again.

Giants claimed LB/DE Alex Hall off waivers from the Eagles.

We thought a 3-4 team would pick up Hall because he fits better as an outside linebacker than a 4-3 defensive end. The Giants, though, are always in the market for more pass rushers. He's still a long shot for the final 53. Per FoxSports.com's Adam Caplan, the Cardinals and Pats also put in for Hall.

Eagles waived OLB Alex Hall.

Hall came over in April as part of the Sheldon Brown trade with the Browns. With Stewart Bradley healthy and Ernie Sims in the mix, the Eagles are suddenly deep at linebacker. A favorite of ex-Twitter star (and now-Eagles scout) Daniel Jeremiah, Hall should get another look from a 3-4 team.

Eagles acquired LB Alex Hall, a 2010 fourth-round pick, and a 2010 fifth-round pick in exchange for CB Sheldon Brown and LB Chris Gocong.

A pass rusher with plenty of promise, Hall fell behind Marcus Benard in the Browns' pecking order after struggling with technique last season. He's an interesting project as a reserve strongside linebacker in Philly. The Eagles now have six draft picks in the first four rounds this year, with an early one likely earmarked for a top cornerback. At this point, Ellis Hobbs tops the depth chart opposite Asante Samuel.

Alex Hall has taken over as the Browns' starting outside linebacker opposite Kam Wimbley.

Hall's bypassed David Bowens, who still figures to rotate in on some early downs. Hall has arguably even better pass-rushing upside than Wimbley, but hasn't done much this preseason. We'd avoid this situation in IDP leagues.

Alex Hall is expected to get the "first crack" at the Browns' outside linebacker opening opposite Kamerion Wimbley.

Hall might already be Cleveland's best pass rusher, although his technique was lacking last year and it cost him playing time. New coach Eric Mangini is a stickler for technique. Hall will need to defend the run better to keep the job.

Terry Pluto of the Cleveland Plain Dealer believes that Alex Hall can be the Browns' best pass rusher.

A seventh-round pick from little St. Augustine last year, Hall flashed with three sacks and two forced fumbles in his first season. He's in the mix with David Bowens and perhaps David Veikune to start opposite Kamerion Wimbley.
