The Eagles aren't planning to bench LCB Bradley Fletcher.
Fletcher got burnt to a crisp by Aaron Rodgers in Sunday's blowout loss, but DC Bill Davis isn't ready to make a change. Fletcher has been up-and-down this season, mostly playing at a replacement-level. The Eagles' only real options to replace him would be taking Brandon Boykin out of the slot in the base defense, or Nolan Carroll. Nov 18 - 2:45 PM

Eagles CB Bradley Fletcher (pectoral) is practicing Tuesday.

Fletcher was inactive for Sunday's win over the Packers, but is considered day to day and was cleared to return to practice. Roc Carmichael started at outside corner in Week 10, with Brandon Boykin remaining in the slot.

Eagles declared CB Bradley Fletcher (pectoral) inactive for Sunday's Week 10 game at Green Bay.

It's a significant loss for the Eagles. Not only will they not have their top outside corner in Fletcher, but they'll have to move slot corner Brandon Boykin out of his comfort zone. Expect Seneca Wallace to perform far better than he did after Aaron Rodgers got hurt last week. Jordy Nelson should be locked into fantasy lineups. The rest of the Eagles inactives: QB Michael Vick, RB Matt Tucker, LB Jake Knott, G Matt Tobin, T Dennis Kelly and WR B.J. Cunningham.

Eagles RCB Bradley Fletcher (concussion) has been medically cleared.

Fletcher will resume practicing Monday and will start opposite Cary Williams against the Chiefs on Thursday night. Slot corner Brandon Boykin did a great job moving outside against Vincent Brown in Week 2, but that left the inside vulnerable. Eddie Royal burned the Eagles for an absurd 7/90/3 line.

Eagles declared RCB Bradley Fletcher (concussion) inactive for Sunday's Week 2 game against the Chargers.

Undersized slot corner Brandon Boykin will start in place of Fletcher. It would be a concern if the Chargers still had both Malcom Floyd and Danario Alexander, but DX is out for the year with a knee injury. Boykin is capable of holding his own against Vincent Brown and Eddie Royal. No surprises on the rest of the Eagles inactives: QB Matt Barkley, DB Shaun Prater, G Matt Tobin, T Dennis Kelly (back), DL Vinny Curry and TE Emil Igwenagu.

Eagles RCB Bradley Fletcher (concussion) has been ruled out for Week 2.

The Birds will start LCB Cary Williams and usual nickel back Brandon Boykin on the corners. If Philly wasn't such a great bet to control time of possession at home versus the cross country-traveling Chargers, we'd view this as an upgrade for Philip Rivers' matchup. It just probably won't help much.

Eagles CB Bradley Fletcher sustained a concussion during Monday night's Week 1 win over the Redskins.

On a short week, Fletcher is highly questionable for Sunday's game against the Chargers. The Eagles have brought back Brandon Hughes to serve as depth and nickel corner Brandon Boykin is going to have to play every snap.

The Philadelphia Inquirer reports Eagles CB Bradley Fletcher's play in training camp hasn't been impressive.

Free agent pickups Fletcher and Cary Williams have struggled to stay on the field due to nagging injuries. Slot cornerback Brandon Boykin has outplayed both veterans, and is now a favorite to start outside. This Eagles secondary has been torched by Tom Brady in joint-team practices the last two days, and it's shaping up as a unit to target in 2013 fantasy matchups.

Both The Sideline View and CSN Philly report the Eagles aren't considering using new CB Bradley Fletcher in the slot.

The Eagles view Fletcher as a pure outside corner, meaning there's a good chance he'll be in the starting lineup come Week 1. Penalties and consistency are parts of Fletcher's game that could use some cleaning up, but he could end up a shrewd signing for Chip Kelly and company.

Eagles signed CB Bradley Fletcher, formerly of the Rams.

Fletcher, who turns 27 before the season, is a physical press-man coverage corner who has flashed starting-caliber skills in the past. Though he fell out of favor in St. Louis last year, Fletcher flourished with four interceptions, 75 tackles, and 11 pass breakups as a 14-game starter in 2010 before an ACL tear ended his season. Fletcher will likely be a starter in Philadelphia.

The Rams will not re-sign free agent CB Bradley Fletcher for 2013.

Jeff Fisher's coaching staff got fed up with Fletcher's persistent penalties in 2012 and will move forward with Trumaine Johnson at nickel back behind Janoris Jenkins and Cortland Finnegan. Fletcher, 26, is an effective press-man corner when healthy and on his game. He could be a bargain signing in free agency.

Rams CB Bradley Fletcher has been demoted from nickel duties.

Rookie Trumaine Johnson is now the Rams' No. 3 cornerback behind Cortland Finnegan and Janoris Jenkins. According to coach Jeff Fisher, Fletcher will be the No. 4 corner in "three of the other packages." It's surprising because Fletcher has played well this season, but he was whistled for three devastating pass interference penalties in St. Louis' Week 8 loss to the Patriots. A free agent at season's end, Fletcher will almost certainly be elsewhere in 2012.

There are "indications" that the Rams have been shopping CB Bradley Fletcher on the trade market.

Fletcher is due $1.2 million in the final year of his contract and has lost the third corner job to third-round rookie Trumaine Johnson. He's also coming off a torn ACL. It's a steep price for a fourth corner that might be at less than 100 percent.

Rams CB Bradley Fletcher (ACL surgery) is practicing at OTAs and minicamp with "little to no restrictions."

Fletcher has torn his right ACL twice in three NFL seasons, but he's proven an exceptionally quick healer. "I’m coming along really well right now," he said. "I am able to do everything and not holding out of anything. My knee is coming along really well." Cortland Finnegan and Janoris Jenkins will be the Rams' Week 1 starting corners, but Fletcher is squarely in the mix for nickel duties.

Rams CB Bradley Fletcher (ACL surgery) worked on a limited basis in this week's minicamp.

"I'm ahead of schedule right now and things are going well," Fletcher said. "I'm back out here in individual drills with the team." The 2009 third-rounder expects to be full-go for the starting of training camp.
