Bears released DE Kyle Moore and S Tom Zbikowski.
Moore was signed to a one-year contract in April, a year after starting seven games and registering three sacks for the Bills. He was competing for the No. 4 defensive end job in Chicago, but lost out to rookie Cornelius Washington. Zbikowski had been working with the third- and fourth-team defenses. Bears agreed to terms with DE Kyle Moore, formerly of the Bills, on a one-year contract.

The journeyman former fourth-round pick started seven games in place of an injured Mark Anderson last season, tallying the first three sacks of his four-year career. He made no known visits in free agency before signing with the Bears. Moore will be in the mix with Corey Wootton and Shea McClellin at left end opposite Julius Peppers, but is unlikely to earn a starting job. Moore's signing means the Bears are likely moving on from Israel Idonije.

The Bills would like to re-sign impending free agent DE Kyle Moore.

Moore underwent a knee scope recently and will be sidelined for a "few weeks." Moore started seven games, racking up three sacks and 24 tackles, in 2012 after Mark Anderson was lost to knee surgery. He didn't register a single sack in his previous three seasons out of USC.

Bills signed DE Kyle Moore from the Lions' practice squad.

A fourth-round pick by the Bucs in 2009, Moore has totaled 28 tackles in 15 career games. He struggled to rush the passer and stop the run in Tampa.

Bucs waived DE Kyle Moore.

Despite winning a starting job out of last year's camp, Moore faceplanted and ended the season on injured reserve due to a shoulder injury. He hasn't shown much as a pass-rusher and has been brutal against the run.

The Bucs' draft has put 2010 starting left defensive end Kyle Moore's 2011 roster spot into even more danger.

Moore started the first seven games last season before landing on injured reserve with a bum shoulder. Though he was supposed to be at least a solid run defender coming out of USC in 2009, Moore's shown nothing to suggest he's an asset in any area. He's certainly not going to help in passing situations.

Bucs LE Kyle Moore "will have to fight vigorously" to make the team in 2011, sources tell the Pewter Report.

Moore won the left end job in camp last year, but he recorded zero sacks in seven games before landing on injured reserve. The USC product is signed cheaply through 2012, so he'll have to really flop to not make the team. Moore's future may also depend on what kind of pass rushers the Bucs add via the draft.

Bucs placed DE Kyle Moore (shoulder) on injured reserve, ending his season.

Moore had missed the last three games and four of the last seven with shoulder problems. He started the first seven games of the season, picking up 29 tackles and six QB pressures. Tim Crowder will continue to start at left end.

Bucs declared DE Kyle Moore, QB Rudy Carpenter, FB Erik Lorig, WR Preston Parker, T Will Barker, T Derek Hardman, DT Frank Okam, and CB Elbert Mack inactive for Week 12 at Baltimore.

Tim Crowder is getting the start at left end in place of Moore. The Bucs are relatively healthy heading into a big Week 12 matchup.

Kyle Moore is expected to open the season as the starting left defensive end for the Bucs.

Moore has now dropped 22 pounds to prepare for the edge rushing role in Raheem Morris' Tampa-2 scheme. He'll have to stay healthy this year after missing eight games with groin and meniscus injuries as a rookie. Moore isn't a great bet for more than a handful of sacks.

Bucs DE Kyle Moore has dropped 16 pounds since the end of his rookie year, and is now down to 274.

Moore, who didn't earn playing time until late last season, needed to shed the weight to be an effective edge rusher in the Tampa-2 scheme. The 2009 fourth-round pick out of USC has an outside shot to start at left end this year.

Bucs rookie DE Kyle Moore is expected to miss up to three weeks after tearing his meniscus in Wednesday's practice.

He'll undergo surgery on Friday. Moore was already sidelined with a groin injury, so it's not a big loss. Newly signed Tim Crowder could see action in his place.
Thu, Sep 24, 2009 03:12:00 PM

Bucs signed fourth-round DE Kyle Moore to a four-year contract.

Moore offers ideal length for a base 4-3 left end, but isn't a dominant pass rusher. He recorded just six sacks as a senior at USC. Moore is currently Tampa's No. 4 DE behind Gaines Adams, Jimmy Wilkerson, and Greg White.
Tue, Jun 23, 2009 01:12:00 PM

Bucs fourth-rounder Kyle Moore is expected to compete with Jimmy Wilkerson for the starting job at left defensive end.

It's a position of need for the Bucs, with Wilkerson being seen as more of a rotational lineman. Moore won't be an impact pass rusher, but he's known as a strong run defender.

Buccaneers selected Southern Cal DE Kyle Moore with the No. 117 overall pick in the NFL Draft.

Moore goes 6'5/272 and paced the Trojans with six sacks as a senior. He'll likely compete for time at left defensive end, and possible provide help inside on passing downs. Tampa is very shaky at LDE after letting Kevin Carter walk in free agency, so Moore could have an outside chance to start.
