Bengals placed P Kevin Huber on injured reserve with a broken jaw and cracked vertebrae, ending his season.

Huber got destroyed on a block in Sunday night's loss to the Steelers. A fifth-year pro, Huber was in the midst of a fine season, placing eighth in net punting average (40.5 yards). He'll be back for 2014.

Bengals P Kevin Huber fractured his jaw during Sunday's Week 15 loss at Pittsburgh.

Huber took a massive hit from Steelers linebacker Terence Garvin during Antonio Brown's touchdown and had to get his jaw wired shut immediately. He'll need surgery and is likely done for the year.

Bengals re-signed P Kevin Huber to a five-year, $14 million contract.

A four-year veteran, Huber was fourth in net punting average at 42.0 yards last season. NFL.com's Ian Rapoport reports the Bengals are also planning to re-sign LS Clark Harris.

Bengals signed fifth-round P Kevin Huber to a four-year contract, including a $195,000 signing bonus.

Huber is assured of a starting job after the club used the 142nd overall pick on him, then waived Ryan Plackemeier and incumbent Kyle Larson. Huber is a big-legged local guy from Cincinnati. He exhibited both outstanding power and accuracy in the Big East, twice earning first-team all conference honors.
