Free agent LT Xavier Fulton visited with the Bills on Friday.
Futlon reportedly visited with the Ravens earlier this week, presumably because of Jared Gaither's injury. The Bills are thin along the offensive line, and Fulton would provide some nice depth. Sat, Sep 25, 2010 03:27:00 PM

Bucs waived OT Xavier Fulton.

This shows how much trouble the Bucs would have been in if Donald Penn didn't show up. Fulton is a fringe talent that is backup-caliber at best. The team's only other left tackle option was converted basketball player Demar Dotson, and Dotson is headed for injured reserve.

The Tampa Tribune suggests that Xavier Fulton may be the Bucs' best option at left tackle if Donald Penn doesn't show up.

The Bucs are in real trouble on Josh Freeman's blind side without Penn. Fulton, a 2009 fifth-round pick who spent all of last year on injured reserve, would be in a competition with Demar Dotson, a former undrafted free agent. Neither player is equipped to be a starting left tackle in the NFL.

Buccaneers placed OT Xavier Fulton on injured reserve, ending his season.

The injury wasn't disclosed, but Fulton had shoulder problems for much of his senior year at Illinois. He was the Bucs' fifth-round pick in April.

Bucs signed fifth-round OL Xavier Fulton to a four-year contract, including a $181,000 signing bonus.

Fulton finished out his Illinois career as the Illini's left tackle after converting from defense. He goes just 6'4/302, however, and has dealt with chronic shoulder woes. Fulton is only being looked at as depth at this point.
