Wynn has been on the street since losing out to Phillip Merling at final cuts in Green Bay. He brings 36 games of experience and 4.5 sacks to the table. Look for Wynn to fill a situational pass rushing role for the Panthers. He takes the spot of Pannel Egboh, who was released on Tuesday.

Packers DE Jarius Wynn has battled a mild case of Bell's Palsy for the past two weeks.

Bell's Palsy causes paralysis or weakness in one side of the face, coming on suddenly before correcting itself in a matter of weeks. Thanks to an antibiotic, a light steroid, and a dark visor on his helmet, Wynn is back to full participation in practice this week.

Packers DE Jarius Wynn has been labeled the "unsung hero" for his two drive-killing sacks against the Bears in Week 3.

Lining up opposite dominant left end Ryan Pickett, Wynn has severely outplayed C.J. Wilson through three games. Wynn and Picket are ranked second and third among 3-4 defensive ends in Pro Football Focus' run defense rankings early this season.

Wynn, the Pack's sixth-round pick in 2009, appeared in 10 games in his rookie season as Cullen Jenkins' backup at right end. He made four tackles. Green Bay will look to avoid using Wynn as more than a spot player this year.

Free agent DE Jarius Wynn is currently en route to Green Bay, and is expected to re-sign with the Packers.

The corresponding move will be to place Justin Harrell (ACL tear) on injured reserve, ending his season. Wynn would step in as Green Bay's No. 4 end.

Seahawks worked out free agent DE Jarius Wynn.

Current Seahawks GM John Schneider was with the Packers in 2009, which happens to be where Wynn played. Wynn is not eligible for the practice squad, so it remains to be seen how he'd factor into the Seahawks' plans.

Packers signed sixth-round DE Jarius Wynn to a four-year contract.

Wynn has the size to make it as a 3-4 end, but he may lack the speed off the edge to generate any kind of a pass rush. He never developed as a playmaker at Georgia despite receiving plenty of hype.
