Falcons signed TE Bear Pascoe, formerly of the Giants.
A pure blocker, Pascoe caught 12 passes in 16 games last season. He'll have a decent shot at cracking the 53-man roster, but as was the case in New York, will have no fantasy value. May 1 - 4:10 PM

Free agent TE Bear Pascoe is working out for the Falcons Thursday.

The Falcons have not shown any sense of urgency to replace Tony Gonzalez. Kicking the tires on a mere blocker like Pascoe reinforces that. They're angling toward plenty of three- and four-wide formations this season.

The Newark Star-Ledger expects the Giants to re-sign free agent TE Bear Pascoe.

A blocking specialist, Pascoe saw extensive playing time in two tight-end sets and will likely be brought back to compete for an H-back role under new OC Ben McAdoo. The Star-Ledger believes a two-year, $1.8 million deal could make sense for both sides.
Jan 24 - 5:26 PM

The Giants will use TE Bear Pascoe at fullback if Henry Hynoski (knee surgery) isn't ready for Week 1.

Hynoski will be in a race to get ready for the opener after surgery to repair a damaged left MCL and chip fracture. Lead blocker is an underrated position in Giants OC Kevin Gilbride's system, which at times looked dominant in I-formations last year with Hynoski clearing holes for Ahmad Bradshaw. New York finished the season seventh in the NFL in yards-per-carry average.

Giants re-signed TE Bear Pascoe to a one-year, $715,000 contract.

Pascoe was set to become a restricted free agent on March 12. Instead, the Giants get their blocking tight end under contract cheaply for 2013. He'll provide some insurance in case Martellus Bennett walks as an unrestricted free agent.

Giants TE Bear Pascoe was forced from Sunday's game with an ankle injury, and is doubtful to return.

X-rays came back negative, but it's possible Martellus Bennett's backup has a high-ankle sprain. Pascoe has just three catches in eight games.

Giants re-signed exclusive rights free agent TE Bear Pascoe to a one-year, $540,000 contract.

A no-brainer for the G-Men, who could be without both Jake Ballard and Travis Beckum for the entire 2012 season as they recover from torn ACLs. Extremely limited athletically, Pascoe will back-up free agent signee Martellus Bennett after catching 12 passes for 136 yards last season.

The Giants are expected to re-sign restricted free agent TE Bear Pascoe.

With both Jake Ballard and Travis Beckum recovering from torn ACLs, re-signing Pascoe should be a no-brainer for the Giants despite his limited athleticism. Even if Ballard and Beckum both begin 2012 on the PUP list, Pascoe is unlikely to be worth a look in fantasy leagues.

Bear Pascoe caught two passes for 14 yards in New York's Week 17 win over the Giants.

Playing increased snaps in Jake Ballard's second straight absence, Pascoe managed to stand out by hurtling Cowboys CB Terence Newman on both of his grabs. An ordinary blocker who made only 12 catches this season, Pascoe is no guarantee to be back with New York in 2012.

The Giants currently plan to use Bear Pascoe as their fullback.

The Giants released Madison Hedgecock and then free agent John Kuhn reportedly took less money than New York was offering to stay in Green Bay. Pascoe is a blocking tight end that will compete with undrafted rookie free agent Henry Hynoski. It's unclear if the Giants have interest in free agent LeRon McClain.

Giants tendered exclusive rights free agent TE Bear Pascoe and G/T Jamon Meredith.

Pascoe played nearly 500 snaps last season -- probably too much for the Giants' liking -- and failed to establish himself as the dominant blocker he's supposed to be. He caught nine passes for 72 yards. Meredith has a wealth of talent, but is on his fourth team after being a 2009 draft pick.

Giants promoted TE Bear Pascoe from the practice squad.

This doesn't bode well for Kevin Boss' (concussion) chances of playing at Indy. Pascoe is a blocking specialist complement to H-back Travis Beckum.

Giants waived TEs Bear Pascoe and Scott Chandler, and DE Tommie Hill.

New York is down to two tight ends -- Kevin Boss and Travis Beckum -- after giving up the blocking specialist Pascoe. The other two were camp bodies.

Coach Tom Coughlin indicated that he expects Bear Pascoe to be the only tight end in uniform for the GIants' preseason opener against the Jets.

Kevin Boss, Travis Beckum, Jake Ballard, and Scott Chandler are all out with injury. Pascoe, a blocking TE, won't be of any fantasy use come the regular season.

Giants signed TE Bear Pascoe off their practice squad.

Pascoe, strictly a blocking prospect coming out of Fresno State in the 2009 draft, adds depth with backup Giants TE Travis Beckum nursing an injury.
