Cardinals OLB Will Davis was carted off the field with a leg injury late in Sunday's game.

Davis was starting his third straight game in place of an injured Clark Haggans. The Cardinals are growing tissue-paper thin at linebacker. Rookie O'Brien Schofield has come on as a replacement.

Cardinals OLB Will Davis is out 4-6 weeks after undergoing surgery to repair a torn meniscus in his knee.

Davis, a sixth-round rookie and former college defensive end, was coming on with two sacks in his last three games and high-effort special teams play. It appears he'll stay on the roster in hopes of returning for the playoffs. Chike Okeafor and Bertrand Berry will take over as Arizona's primary ROLBs.

Will Davis - LB - Cardinals

Cardinals signed sixth-round LB Will Davis to a three-year contract.

Davis receives a $66,000 signing bonus. The former Fighting Illini tight end exploded with 9.5 sacks as a junior but his production plummeted as a senior. He could emerge as a pass rusher in the future if he can gain upper body strength.
