Cowboys signed RB Javarris Williams and WR David Little.
Williams, a 2009 seventh-rounder, looks better getting off the bus than he does on the field. Despite good speed and a 5'10/223 frame, he's already on his third NFL team and had been on the street since June. Little is a mere camp body while Miles Austin works through another hamstring tweak. The Cowboys will work out RB Javarris Williams and WR David Little.

Williams was waived by Houston in June and has only six career carries to his name. Little is a 6'2/187 undrafted free agent out of Midwestern State. Both would be camp bodies.

Texans waived RB Javarris Williams.

A former seventh-round pick, Williams hasn't appeared in a game since 2009. Getting cut at this stage of the offseason suggests he's at the end of the line.

Texans signed RB Javarris Williams to a reserve/future contract.

Williams was with Houston in 2011 training camp. The former Chiefs seventh-round pick rushed for 80 yards on 10 preseason carries. He'll be a long shot to replace free agent Derrick Ward as the Texans' third-string back in 2012.

Texans signed RB Jarvarris Williams and WR Devard Darling.

Williams, a Houston native, was signed to add depth with three running backs nursing hamstring injuries. Darling, out of the league in 2010, is also merely a camp body with several receivers banged up.

Chiefs waived RB Javarris Williams, S Ricky Price, DT Derek Lokey, OG Darryl Harris, OT Bobby Greenwood, DT Garrett Brown and DL Dion Gales.

Williams, a seventh-rounder in 2009, spent the majority of last season on the practice squad before rushing six times for six yards in the final month. Jackie Battle has won the No. 3 RB job.

Chiefs RB Javarris Williams was running with the fourth or fifth team during OTAs.

The 2009 seventh-round pick appears to be on the outside of the Chiefs' roster looking in right now even though Kolby Smith is gone. He'll have to beat out Kestahn Moore, who raised some eyebrows at offseason practices, and Jackie Battle, who beat him out last year.

Chiefs signed RB Javarris Williams off their practice squad.

Williams, a seventh-round rookie out of Tennessee State, has an intriguing speed/size combination, but didn't look remotely NFL-ready in the preseason. He'll back up Jamaal Charles until Dantrell Savage gets healthy.

Chiefs signed RB Javarris Williams, CB Jackie Bates, TE Tom Crabtree, DE Dion Gales, DE Robert Greenwood, OG Darryl Harris, and WR Rodney Wright to their practice squad.

Williams was the Chiefs' seventh-round pick in April. He struggled badly in the preseason and was unable to beat out Jackie Battle for a roster spot.

Seventh-round pick Javarris Williams is not expected to make the Chiefs' final roster.

The rookie back has just 15 yards on seven preseason carries and is behind Jackie Battle, which is a bad sign. Williams is a practice squad candidate.

Chiefs signed seventh-round RB Javarris Williams to a multi-year contract.

Williams attended Tennessee State, earning Ohio Valley Offensive POY honors despite missing his last two games with a bad hammy. He's a poor man's Larry Johnson at 5'10/223 with 4.52 wheels, but probably won't see the field much this year with L.J. and Jamaal Charles ahead of him.

Seventh-round pick Javarris Williams admits he's had trouble picking up the Chiefs' playbook at minicamps.

Williams is struggling with blitz pickup, which is always a hurdle for rookies. "At Tennessee State it was a lot more simple," he admitted. He's in the mix with Kolby Smith and Dantrell Savage to be the team's No. 3 back.

Chiefs selected Tennessee State RB Javarris Williams with the No. 212 overall pick in the NFL Draft.

Williams has a nice speed-size combo (5'10/219, 4.52), but played behind one of the best lines in TSU history and his production surprisingly slipped as a senior. He's probably not the answer if K.C. releases Larry Johnson.
