Broncos signed DT Jeremy Jarmon and CB Ramzee Robinson to reserve/future contracts.

In late July, the Broncos traded Jabar Gaffney for Jarmon. Jarmon was waived at final cuts, spending the season on Denver's practice squad, while Gaffney turned in a 68-catch, 947-yard campaign in D.C. Jarmon entered the league as an end, but will try to make it as a defensive tackle in 2012 training camp.

The Broncos have moved Jeremy Jarmon from defensive end to tackle.

It's a desperation move for the injury-riddled Broncos. With Ty Warren and Marcus Thomas down, they need warm bodies in the middle. At just 286 pounds, Jarmon is not a real candidate for significant snaps inside.

Broncos acquired DE Jeremy Jarmon from the Redskins in exchange for WR Jabar Gaffney.

A third-round supplemental pick in 2009, Jarmon was viewed as a developmental project coming out of Kentucky. The Redskins' transition from a 4-3 to a 3-4 in his second year only stunted his progress. At 6-foot-3, 286, however, Jarmon has the size to play strong-side end in a 4-3 scheme like John Fox's. He could push for rotational snaps on running downs initially.

The NFL has fined Redskins DE Jeremy Jarmon $5,000 for his Week 5 helmet-to-helmet hit on QB Aaron Rodgers in overtime.

Jarmon was not penalized after the play, but Rodgers suffered a mild concussion as a result of the hit. The Packers' QB is listed as probable after practicing fully on Friday.

The Redskins have moved Jeremy Jarmon from outside linebacker back to defensive end.

He's bulked back up to 295 pounds after trying to get to the 270s during the offseason. Jarmon, a 2009 supplemental draft pick, admits his transition has "been real tough." It's unclear if he'll make it through Saturday's cuts.

Redskins DE Jeremy Jarmon (ACL surgery) expects to be ready for training camp this summer.

Jarmon sustained the injury in late November, so he's no lock to be fully recovered by August. The Redskins forfeited a 2010 third-rounder to grab Jarmon in the supplemental draft. Less than a year later, he's a man without a position in the team's new 3-4 defense. Chances are he'll have to switch to outside linebacker.

Redskins placed DE Jeremy Jarmon on injured reserve with a torn ACL, ending his season.

Jarmon entered the league last summer as a raw supplemental draft pick out of Kentucky, and earned only spot playing time in his first year. The torn ACL won't threaten his 2010 roster spot, but is a severe early-career setback.

Redskins rookie DE Jeremy Jarmon tore the ACL in his left knee during Sunday's loss to the Eagles and will be placed on injured reserve.

Unlike some of the Redskins' other injuries this season, this one is just a flesh wound. Jarmon was a reserve pass rusher and had nine tackles with no sacks on the season.

Redskins rookie DE Jeremy Jarmon left Sunday's game against the Eagles with a knee sprain. He will not return.

The Redskins' defensive line is holding up reasonably well without Albert Haynesworth. Jarmon is just a rotational player.

Redskins defensive coordinator Greg Blache said rookie DE Jeremy Jarmon is ahead of the learning curve.

Jarmon was taken in the supplemental draft and is battling for playing time in a defensive line rotation. "When his mind catches up with his athletic skills, I think he'll possibly be on the field even a little sooner than we thought he would be," Blache said.

Redskins agreed to terms with third-round supplemental draft pick Jeremy Jarmon on a four-year contract with a $755,000 signing bonus.

Jarmon, only 21 after the NCAA disallowed him from finishing out his career at Kentucky, will compete for snaps with declining vets Renaldo Wynn and Phillip Daniels. Washington will likely employ a heavy rotation at left end.

Executive VP of player personnel Vinny Cerrato disclosed that the Redskins had a second-round grade on Kentucky DE Jeremy Jarmon.

The 'Skins believe they got a value pick with their supplemental selection because defensive ends are usually overvalued in the draft. The team figures to use 2009 as a developmental year for Jarmon.

The Redskins reportedly beat five teams to the punch by using a third-round claim on Kentucky DE Jeremy Jarmon in the supplemental draft.

According to NFL Insider Adam Schefter, the Eagles, Bucs, Saints, Lions and Patriots all put in fourth-round claims. The Redskins did their homework and had Jarmon's value pegged accurately.
