Saints signed LB Ramon Humber and WR Kevin Hardy.

CB Laron Scott and OG Scott Winnewisser were waived in corresponding moves. A four-year veteran, Humber notched 21 tackles in 13 games for last season, but was non-tendered and handed a three-game ban for his role in the Saints' bounty scandal. Humber will be allowed to play during the preseason, but it's unlikely he'll crack the 53-man roster once his suspension is up.

NFL suspended free agent LB Ramon Humber three games for an undisclosed violation of league policy.

Humber, 24, appeared in 13 games for the Saints last season, mostly as a backup linebacker and key special teamer. It now appears he's been caught up in the Bounty Scandal, although the exact reason for the suspension is unknown. Humber is allowed to sign with a team and practice during the preseason.

The Saints failed to tender restricted free agent LB Ramon Humber, making him an unrestricted free agent.

An undrafted free agent addition by Indianapolis back in 2009, Humber went on to lead the Colts in special teams tackles his rookie season. A broken hand has limited him to 18 games over the last two seasons, but, at just 24-years-old, he should find himself competing for a roster spot somewhere this offseason.

Saints waived LB Ramon Humber.

The Saints will enter the season with six linebackers on the active roster: Starters Jonathan Vilma, Will Herring, and Jonathan Casillas, and backups Scott Shanle, Martez Wilson, and J-Lonn Dunbar. Humber was a special teamer.

The Colts placed Humber on injured reserve with a hand injury earlier this season but then reached an injury settlement and cut him loose. He'll contribute on special teams for the Saints.

Colts placed LB Ramon Humber on injured reserve with a fractured hand, ending his season.

Humber had surgery after injuring the hand in Week 2. He played in the first two games, recording three tackles. A former undrafted free agent out of North Dakota State, Humber hasn't made an impact outside of special teams.

Colts LB Ramon Humber underwent surgery to repair a fractured hand.

Humber saw increased action last week, but the Colts expect weak-side starter Clint Session (hamstring) back for Sunday's game. The Colts failed to provide a timetable for Humber's recovery.
