Jordan Norwood (hamstring) is questionable for Week 8 against the Packers.
Norwood injured his hamstring in Friday's practice. Cody Latimer or Andre Caldwell will replace him in three-wide sets if he doesn't play, with Emmanuel Sanders likely moving inside to the slot. Oct 30 - 6:37 PM

Jordan Norwood caught three passes for 27 yards in Week 3 against the Lions.

Norwood managed a 17-yard catch on a broken third-down play in the second half. He's been playing in three-wide sets, but remains a non-factor.

Jordan Norwood caught 3-of-5 targets for 14 yards in Denver's Week 2 win over the Chiefs.

Norwood has now run as Denver's No. 3 wideout in back-to-back games, but has just five catches for 39 yards to show for it. He couldn't make a difficult catch on what could have been a 19-yard touchdown late in the third quarter. Norwood has blown by Cody Latimer on the depth chart, but has no fantasy value.

Jordan Norwood caught 2-of-5 targets for 25 yards Week 1 against the Ravens.

Norwood worked as the primary slot receiver, which is something ESPN's Jeff Legwold expects to continue. Norwood has jumped Cody Latimer on the depth chart and could be useful in extremely deep PPR formats. Latimer can be dropped in redraft leagues.

Broncos WR Jordan Norwood has seven catches for 67 yards this preseason.

Norwood played extensively with the Peyton Manning group in Denver's third preseason game, replacing Emmanuel Sanders (hamstring) at slot receiver. When the Broncos' receiver crew is fully healthy, Sanders will man the inside in three-wide sets, with Demaryius Thomas and Cody Latimer aligning on the perimeter. Norwood is a crafty slot man, but he's low on talent as a 29-year-old former UDFA out of Penn State. He's just completing for a roster spot in Denver. Norwood missed all of 2014 with a torn ACL.
Aug 31 - 3:45 PM

Broncos signed WR Jordan Norwood, LB L.J. Fort, S Eric Hagg, OL Mike Farrell, and OL Ryan Miller to reserve/future contracts.

Norwood caught 36 passes for 405 yards and one touchdown in 16 games with the Browns from 2011-2012. Fort, Hagg, and Miller all also played for the Browns in 2012. Ex-Cleveland GM Tom Heckert is currently in Denver's front office.

Bucs agreed to terms with WR Jordan Norwood, formerly of the Browns.

DE Aaron Morgan was waived in a corresponding move. A fifth-year undrafted free agent, Norwood spent the past two years with the Browns. He was waived on Monday. He's likely just a camp body, but the Bucs don't have a set slot receiver. Norwood plays exclusively in the slot.

Browns waived WR Jordan Norwood.

Norwood is a slot receiver only, and the Browns are all set there with Davone Bess. Norwood could still help a team with a specific need at his position.

ESPN Cleveland considers WR Jordan Norwood on the roster bubble.

Norwood is a carryover from former GM Tom Heckert and will need a strong preseason to avoid being cut. Josh Cooper, Ryan Miller, and Owen Marecic are also in danger of losing their roster spots.

Browns re-signed exclusive rights free agents WR Josh Cooper and LS Christian Yount.

Norwood caught 13 passes in two games last season before a foot injury landed him on injured reserve. He'll compete with Josh Cooper for slot duties. The Browns are hosting free agent David Nelson for a visit on Thursday. Nelson would vault ahead of both Norwood and Cooper if signed. Regardless of whether Nelson is brought aboard, Norwood won't be guaranteed a roster spot in camp.

Browns assigned WR Jordan Norwood (foot) the "designated for return" tag on injured reserve.

Norwood can't resume practicing for six weeks, and won't be eligible to return for eight weeks. It's an extremely ill-timed blow for a player who had recently locked down slot duties and caught a career-high nine passes in Week 5. It also means rookie Brandon Weeden will have one less security blanket over the middle. Although Norwood should play again this season, he's not worth holding onto in PPR leagues. It's unclear whom the Browns will install in the slot.

Browns WR Jordan Norwood (foot) was spotted on crutches Thursday.

The Browns have been mum on Norwood's status, but with his left foot in a boot, he's clearly out for Week 6. It's a disappointment for a player who could have been in for increased snaps with Mohamed Massaquoi (hamstring) and Travis Benjamin (hamstring) both still on the shelf. Norwood should be considered week-to-week.

According to FOX 8 Sports in Cleveland, WR Jordan Norwood has a sprained foot and is in a walking boot.

Browns coach Pat Shurmur was very coy when asked about Norwood on Wednesday, refusing to even acknowledge that his slot receiver is injured. If this report turns out true, Norwood is facing a multi-week absence.

WR Jordan Norwood is listed on the Browns' Week 6 injury report.

Coach Pat Shurmur declined to provide an update when asked if Norwood is hurt. It's strange timing considering Norwood had a career day with nine catches and 81 yards in Week 5. He has the starting slot job sewn up as long as he's active against the Bengals this week.
Wed, Oct 10, 2012 12:06:00 PM

Browns WR Jordan Norwood caught nine balls for 81 yards in the team's Week 5 loss to the Giants.

Seeing an uptick in playing time due to Travis Benjamin and Mohamed Massaquoi's hamstring injuries, Norwood was heavily targeted among Brandon Weeden's 35 pass attempts and played efficiently in the slot. Norwood is a decent little inside receiver, but brings to the table little big-play ability. We certainly wouldn't rush to pick him up in fantasy leagues.
