Titans CB Perrish Cox (hamstring) will be a game-time decision Week 10 against the Panthers.
Cox was expected to return this week, but he rushed back from a hamstring issue earlier in the season and suffered a recurrence. With Jason McCourty (groin) out Week 10 and perhaps done for the season, the Titans need Cox healthy. Tennessee's pass defense has been surprisingly stout this season, but they have been hit hard by injuries. Nov 13 - 1:19 PM

The Titans expect RCB Perrish Cox to return from his hamstring injury this week.

With Jason McCourty at left corner, Coty Sensabaugh in the slot, and Cox back at right corner, the Titans' secondary will be at full strength against the Saints. They should be happy to limit Blidi Wreh-Wilson's snaps going forward.
Nov 2 - 4:45 PM

Titans RCB Perrish Cox (hamstring) is out for Week 8 against the Texans.

He hasn't played since Week 6. Coty Sensabaugh will draw another start at right cornerback. Cox is optimistic he'll be ready for next week's game against Jacksonville.
Oct 30 - 1:48 PM

Titans RCB Perrish Cox underwent acupuncture on his balky hamstring.

It seems like he's grasping at straws, although perhaps the procedure will help. Cox was Tennessee's top cornerback before going down and missing Week 7 against the Falcons. He admitted he's endured setbacks with the hamstring. LCB Jason McCourty also suffered a hamstring injury in Sunday's loss.
Oct 26 - 3:45 PM

The Titans have ruled out RCB Perrish Cox (hamstring) for Week 7 against the Falcons.

We love it when Blidi Wreh-Wilson comes into our lives, and that'll be the case on Sunday when fantasy's prized moneymaking cornerback gets the start in place of Cox against Julio Jones & Co. Getcha popcorn ready.
Oct 23 - 1:33 PM

Titans LCB Perrish Cox is undergoing an MRI on his hamstring.

Cox was limited to just eight snaps against the Dolphins, and appears to be in real danger of missing Week 7. Coty Sensabaugh and Blidi Wreh-Wilson will both see an increase in snaps if Cox can't go.
Oct 19 - 3:45 PM

Perrish Cox (hip) is active for Week 1 against the Buccaneers.

Cox is good to go after practicing in a limited capacity on Thursday and Friday. He'll shadow Vincent Jackson, who should get plenty of action Sunday with Mike Evans (hamstring) out of the lineup.
Sep 13 - 3:12 PM

Titans CB Perrish Cox is listed as questionable for Week 1 with a hip injury.

Cox suffered the injury this week in practice. He got in limited sessions on Thursday and Friday, and coach Ken Whisenhunt said he expects Cox to play against the Bucs. With Jason McCourty (groin) already out, the Titans would be in a desperate position if Cox cannot go. Coty Sensabaugh, Blidi Wreh-Wilson and Cody Riggs would be the top three corners with Cox out. Vincent Jackson is shaping up as a great play this week.
Sep 12 - 11:51 AM

The Ravens were interested in Perrish Cox before he signed with the Titans.

The Ravens are set at corner, but want depth behind Jimmy Smith and a seemingly in-decline Lardarius Webb. Smith is coming off foot surgery, an injury that left the Ravens woefully undermanned at corner last season.
Mar 16 - 8:16 AM

Titans signed CB Perrish Cox to a three-year, $15 million contract.

Cox is coming off a strong 2014 with the 49ers, finishing behind only Glover Quin and Tashaun Gipson with five interceptions. He'll be an immediate upgrade as a boundary corner in the Titans' secondary opposite Jason McCourty. Cox's signing will move Blidi Wreh-Wilson into a sub-package role. Tramon Williams and Rashean Mathis are now the top remaining free-agent corners.
Mar 14 - 4:44 PM

The 49ers have made no effort to re-sign free agent CB Perrish Cox.

San Francisco has moved on, bringing in former Chargers CB Shareece Wright for a visit on Friday. Cox is also moving on, visiting with the Redskins, Browns and Titans this week. A bigger defensive back with good ball skills, Cox is the second-best corner left on the market behind Tramon Williams.
Mar 14 - 9:15 AM

Free agent CB Perrish Cox will visit the Titans on Friday.

He visited the Redskins on Wednesday, will meet the Browns on Thursday, and has the Titans lined up thereafter. Cox is a plus-sized 28-year-old corner with standout ball skills. He would help any of the above teams.
Mar 11 - 9:34 PM

Free agent CB Perrish Cox will meet with the Browns on Thursday.

The Redskins are also pursuing Cox. The 28-year-old led the Niners in interceptions last season with five. The market for cornerbacks has thinned out considerably with all the signings we've seen over the last 24 hours. Now that Darrelle Revis and Byron Maxwell are off the board, Cox is Rotoworld's fourth-best available corner.
Mar 10 - 9:57 PM

Free agent CB Perrish Cox will visit the Redskins on Wednesday.

In legal and professional limbo from 2011-13, Cox started 14 games for the 49ers last season, intercepting five passes. He could be a cheap signing for a team that badly needs more depth at cornerback.
Mar 10 - 8:15 PM

49ers re-signed CB Perrish Cox to a one-year contract.

Cox wasn't tendered an offer as a restricted free agent and is likely coming back at the four-year veteran's minimum. He played 164 snaps on defense last season with 63 of those coming in the Wild Card win over Green Bay. Cox will be a sub-package player and special teams contributor in 2014.
