Browns declared CB Joe Haden, WR Corey Coleman, DE Xavier Cooper, TE Seth DeValve, QB Josh McCown, TE Randall Telfer and FB Dan Vitale inactive for Week 6 against the Titans.

Haden aggravated a groin injury at practice on Thursday and is week to week. With McCown (shoulder) sidelined, undrafted rookie Kevin Hogan will serve as Cody Kessler's backup quarterback. Gary Barnidge (forearm, hip) and Tramon Williams (shoulder) are both active for Cleveland.
Oct 16 - 11:38 AM

According to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, Joe Haden (groin) is unlikely to play in Sunday's Week 6 game against the Titans.

Haden aggravated a pre-existing groin injury at Thursday's practice. He sat out Friday's session and will now be a spectator for Week 6. Undrafted rookie Briean Boddy-Calhoun will likely draw the start in his place. Haden is a big loss but with arguably the league's worst receiving corps, it's unlikely Tennessee will take advantage of his absence.
Oct 16 - 8:38 AM

Joe Haden (groin) is questionable for Week 6 against the Titans.

Haden tweaked his groin in Thursday's practice and didn't participate Friday. He seems more doubtful. The Browns don't need him against Tennessee's league-worst WR corps, but it's a slight upgrade for Marcus Mariota.
Oct 14 - 12:01 PM

Browns CB Joe Haden (groin) was limited at Thursday's practice.

It's a downgrade from Wednesday when Haden was a full participant. It looks like Haden aggravated a groin injury he suffered earlier this season. We're not concerned about his status for Week 6. Haden holds PFF's 15th-highest cornerback grade out of 117 qualifiers this year.
Oct 13 - 4:40 PM

Browns CB Joe Haden (groin) is active for Week 4.

Haden is active after practicing on a limited basis all week. He should matchup with DeSean Jackson for most of the game. The Browns inactives are QB Josh McCown, WR Corey Coleman, CB Tramon Williams, S Ibraheim Campbell, OL Cameron Erving, TE Seth DeValve, and DL Carl Nassib.
Oct 2 - 11:45 AM

Browns CB Joe Haden (groin) is questionable for Week 4 against the Redskins.

Haden got in a round of limited practices this week and should be able to play after missing Week 3. He'll do battle with DeSean Jackson plenty on Sunday.
Sep 30 - 12:33 PM

Browns CB Joe Haden (groin) was limited in Wednesday's practice.

Haden was inactive Week 3 after suffering a groin injury last Thursday. He was close to playing against the Dolphins, and this limited practice puts him on track to return this week.
Sep 29 - 12:31 PM

Browns CB Joe Haden (groin) is inactive for Week 3.

Haden made the trip to Miami, but was always on the doubtful side after going down in Friday's practice. It's an upgrade to a Dolphins pass game that's already in a plus spot. Tramon Williams will start opposite Jamar Taylor in base sets, and should follow Jarvis Landry in the slot. The rest of Cleveland's inactives are QB Josh McCown, WR Corey Coleman, S Ibraheim Campbell, C Cameron Erving, OL Shon Coleman, and DL Carl Nassib.
Sep 25 - 11:38 AM

Browns CB Joe Haden (questionable, groin) made the trip to Miami.

It confirms Haden is a game time decision. Coach Hue Jackson has suggested Haden will play, but there's always concern with late additions to the injury report. Haden is PFF's No. 2 overall corner through two weeks.
Sep 24 - 2:35 PM

Browns CB Joe Haden (groin) is questionable for Week 3 against the Dolphins.

Already a glorious spot for Ryan Tannehill and the Dolphins' passing attack, it would become even better if Haden sits. He had two interceptions last week against the Ravens and dropped another. Haden has been the only Browns cornerback to show any reasonable coverage skills through two games.
Sep 23 - 12:12 PM

Browns coach Hue Jackson said Joe Haden "looks like the same corner I used to play against."

Haden entered last year as one of the better corners in football, but suffered through an injury-ruined campaign. It could obviously just be coachspeak, but the clear takeaway is that Haden is healthy. The former lockdown man is still only 27 years old.
Sep 8 - 1:25 PM

Browns CB Joe Haden (ankle) passed his physical and has been removed from the active/PUP list.

Haden was originally considered questionable for Week 1 after undergoing ankle surgery in March, but it looks like he should be 100 percent well before the season opener. With serious questions along the defensive front, the Browns need Haden back healthy and effective. He was neither last season.
Aug 8 - 11:48 AM

Browns coach Hue Jackson confirmed CB Joe Haden (ankle, active/PUP) will be ready for the start of the season.

Haden has yet to practice, but is close to returning. The Browns want to get him reps in the preseason. He'll be six months removed from surgery in Week 1.

Aug 3 - 6:38 PM

Browns coach Hue Jackson said CB Joe Haden (ankle surgery) is very close to returning.

Jackson added the corner is chomping at the bit to get back on the field. Haden underwent ankle surgery in March after being limited to five games last season by various injuries including a severe concussion. It sounds like Haden could get some work in during the preseason, but the Browns will likely be very cautious with their star corner.
