Doug Flutie reportedly could have taken the job as New England's third-string quarterback over Vinny Testaverde, but passed.
"Bill (Belichick) and I talked about it in the offseason, and I told him I was done. Stick a fork in me. I told him I’d signed a three-year deal with ESPN," Flutie said. "I’m excited for Vinny. I just hope they get him a ring." Tue, Nov 21, 2006 09:32:00 AM
