Damian Williams' 2013 salary jumped from $575,000 to $1.323 million based on rookie-deal incentives.
Williams, Tennessee's No. 4 receiver, caught just 30 passes for 324 yards in 2012 as he battled hamstring woes. His best year was in 2011, when he reeled in 45 balls for 592 yards and five touchdowns. As he enters the final year of his contract, the Titans may deem Williams too expensive for a fourth wideout. Titans WR Damian Williams (hamstring) has been ruled out for Week 15 on Monday night against the Jets.

Williams aggravated his hamstring while trying to pull up on the sideline in Week 13 against the Texans and hasn't played since. As the fourth receiver in Tennessee, Williams wasn't a fantasy option anyways.

Titans declared WR Damian Williams, MLB Colin McCarthy, OG Mitch Petrus, OT Daniel Baldridge, WR Lavelle Hawkins, DT DaJohn Harris, and QB Rusty Smith inactive for Week 14 versus the Colts.

Williams aggravated his hamstring injury last week against the Texans. McCarthy is still dealing with a concussion. Petrus and Baldridge were just signed this past week.

Damian Williams (hamstring) has been ruled out for Week 14.

It will be just the second missed game of Williams' career. Averaging a weekly 2.3/21.5/0 this season, Williams has failed to take a step forward during his age-24 campaign.

The Titans expect Damian Williams (hamstring) to miss Week 14 at Indianapolis.

Williams has been averaging 20-25 snaps per game as the fourth receiver. Kendall Wright and Kenny Britt should see an uptick in playing time and targets with Williams out.

Titans WR Damian Williams left Sunday's Week 13 game against the Texans with a hamstring injury.

Williams was listed on the injury report as questionable with a hamstring injury, so he likely suffered a setback. He was injured on an incompletion where he ran into a bystander on the sidelines. Williams is no more than the fourth or fifth option in the Tennessee passing attack.

Damian Williams anticipates being the Titans' first wide receiver off the bench this season.

"I guess I’m kind of the filler guy," he said. "Wherever somebody comes out, that’s where I go." Williams ultimately started 13 of 15 appearances last season, after Kenny Britt's Week 3 ACL tear, and caught 45 balls for 592 yards with five touchdowns. He's shown enough to be relied upon as a starter in the pinch, but is behind Nate Washington and Kendall Wright in the pecking order.

The Titans expect WR Damian Williams to see more action on special teams this season.

Coordinator Chris Palmer also suggested Williams will be asked to learn all of the receiver positions now that he's no longer viewed as a starter. With first-rounder Kendall Wright poised for an instant impact, Williams will likely enter the season no higher than fourth on the depth chart at wide receiver.

Damian Williams left Sunday's Week 17 game with a rib injury.

His return was announced as questionable. Williams had two catches for 21 yards before exiting, bringing his season totals to 592 yards and five touchdowns on 45 receptions.

Damian Williams caught eight passes for 83 yards in the Titans' Week 16 win over the Jaguars.

Williams ate up the Jaguars' woeful secondary. He continues to show an ability to be both physical and quick as he tied for the team lead in targets with 11. Williams will be a nice No. 3 receiver for the Titans with the potential to be a No. 2 once Kenny Britt (knee) returns next season.

Damian Williams was held to two catches for 15 yards in Sunday's game against the Colts.

Williams came in averaging 20.7 yards per catch in his last two games, but saw fewer targets than Lavelle Hawkins and Jared Cook, and was shutdown by Jacob Lacey. He continues to struggle with his consistency this season with just one 100-yard game and five touchdowns since taking over for Kenny Britt (ACL surgery).

Damian Williams caught two passes for 62 yards in Sunday's Week 14 loss to the Saints.

Williams was targeted a team-high 10 times, but had the attention of the Saints' defense. His best play came on a quick hook that he turned upfield for 54 yards. Still, things are looking up for Williams in Week 15 no matter who starts at quarterback thanks to a matchup with the Colts.

Damian Williams caught four passes for 62 yards in Sunday's win over the Bills.

Even before Nate Washington started to struggle with an ankle injury, Williams was the first read on the majority of Matt Hasselbeck's dropbacks. He ended up leading the team in targets with seven and continues to separate from corners with ease. Over the last six games, Williams is averaging 3.5 catches for 52.0 yards with three touchdowns. And with the Titans likely to be trailing against the Saints next week, Williams should get even more chances.

Matt Hasselbeck revealed that coaches have put more plays in for Damian Williams due to his progress in recent practices.

Williams' role is already increasing. He has 33 targets over the past four games compared to 25 for Nate Washington. Hasselbeck and OC Chris Palmer also said third receiver Lavelle Hawkins has "improved greatly" in recent weeks. He could end up eating into Washington's targets as well.
