Cardinals worked out free agent OG Vlad Ducasse.

With Evan Mathis (questionable, foot) sidelined, Arizona is likely updating their emergency list. The Cardinals are the first team to show interest in Ducasse since his Baltimore release.

Ravens released OG Vlad Ducasse.

Ducasse made 14 starts with Chicago last year, but wasn't more than a backup option in Baltimore. His release saves just $600K in cap space. Ducasse might not resurface until after Week 1.
Sep 3 - 4:15 PM

Ravens signed OG Vlad Ducasse.

Ducasse met with the Ravens in early March. Nothing came from that visit, but Baltimore needed a fall-back option after failing to add any quality guards in free agency or the draft. Ducasse should compete with John Urschel and Ryan Jensen at left guard.
May 16 - 12:05 PM

The Ravens hosted free agent OG Vlad Ducasse on Thursday.

Ducasse started 11 games for the Bears last season. He struggled mightily in pass protection, but was an above-average run blocker. Ideally, Ducasse would be nothing more than a third guard in Baltimore.
Mar 10 - 5:48 PM

Bears signed G/T Vlad Ducasse, formerly of the Vikings, to a one-year contract.

Ducasse, the 61st overall pick in 2010 by the Jets, appeared in eight games for the Vikings last season, making six starts. He can play either guard spot and right tackle in pinch, though he isn't good at any of them. Ducasse will compete for a reserve role along Chicago's line this summer.

The Vikings signed OL Vlad Ducasse as a guard, and "never discussed tackle with him."

Ducasse hasn't played tackle since 2011, so it's not surprising. He's struggled mightily at guard the past two seasons, however, and won't be guaranteed to make the 53-man roster. Ducasse needs a strong camp and preseason.

Vikings signed G/T Vlad Ducasse to a one-year contract.

A 2010 second-round project pick of the Jets, Ducasse's light has never flipped on. He ended up making just five starts across four seasons with Gang Green, and got benched in favor of rookie Brian Winters at left guard four games into last year. A change of scenery might help, but Ducasse will have to fight to make the roster as part of the Vikings' talented offensive line.

The New York Daily News reports the Jets are open to re-signing free agent G/T Vlad Ducasse.

The Jets were expected to let Ducasse walk, but his price must be bottoming out. Ducasse has visited the Vikings and Bengals.

Free agent G/T Vlad Ducasse will visit the Bengals before the Vikings.

Ducasse would fight for swing duties in Cincinnati after the Bengals lost Anthony Collins. A bust to this point in his career, however, there's no guarantee he'd make the 53-man roster.

The Vikings will host free agent T/G Vlad Ducasse next week.

Ducasse was given countless chances to earn starting jobs at both tackle and guard with the Jets, but proved an utter bust. In Minnesota, he'd likely be competing for a roster spot. The Vikings are strong on the offensive line.

The Jets aren't expected to re-sign free agent OG Vlad Ducasse.

Ducasse, the 61st pick in the 2010 draft, could never put it together. He was given multiple opportunities to win starting jobs but either never won them or lasted only a short while before being benched. Ducasse won't have a hot market.

Jets LG Vladimir Ducasse has been benched in favor of Brian Winters.

Ducasse was able to beat out Winters for the job at training camp because the third-round rookie was battling an ankle injury. But over the last two weeks, Vlad has committed four penalties and struggled in pass protection. He's ProFootballFocus' No. 66 guard out of 70 qualifiers so far this season.

Vladimir Ducasse has won the Jets' starting left guard job.

He beat out Stephen Peterman, who was released at first cuts. A 2010 second-round pick out of UMass, Ducasse has graded out extremely poorly in pass protection per Pro Football Focus' preseason charts, but he's been a powerful force in the running game. The Jets need to play run-dominated football to have any prayer of competing this season, so that skill set fits somewhat nicely.

Vlad Ducasse started at left guard in Saturday's preseason game against the Giants.

Ducasse entered training camp on the roster bubble and has been a career backup to this point, but the Jets don't have any better options. Stephen Peterman worked as the second-team center during practice this week. Third-round pick Brian Winters has been limited with an ankle injury.
