Broncos waived LB Jammie Kirlew, WR Alric Arnett, TE Nathan Overbay, LB Johnny Williams, OT Paul Duncan, and TE Kory Sperry.

Kirlew is the best bet for the practice squad out of this group. He was a seventh-round pick in April's draft, but was outplayed by undrafted rookie Kevin Alexander. Duncan, another undrafted free agent, played at Notre Dame.

Broncos agreed to terms with seventh-round pick LB Jammie Kirlew on a four-year, $1.84 million contract.

The deal comes with a signing bonus worth roughly $50,000. Kirlew, 23, was a two-time All-Big Ten selection in his four years at Indiana University and finished with 220 tackles -- 150 solo -- in 48 games.
