Hardman was waived by the Bucs following Week 2. He's back now that swing lineman Jeremy Trueblood (shoulder) is on injured reserve.

Hardman has practice squad eligibility and could resurface there with Tampa Bay. The onetime Eastern Kentucky star was inactive in both Weeks 1 and 2.

Bucs re-signed G/T Derek Hardman and released DE Wallace Gilberry.

Undrafted out of Eastern Kentucky, Hardman is purely a backup. Gilberry didn't play a down in the Week 1 victory over the Panthers.

Hardman is a practice squad type that has appeared in 12 games over the last two seasons for the Bucs.

Bucs activated OT Derek Hardman from their practice squad.

It's probably an indication that LG Keydrick Vincent is a no-go for Week 7, and the Bucs are already without C Jeff Faine. You'd need to be desperate to start Cadillac Williams this weekend.
