Vikings declared CB Tramaine Brock, WR Rodney Adams, S Antone Exum, OG Danny Isidora, OT Aviante Collins, DE Tashawn Bower, and DT Jaleel Johnson inactive for Week 1 against the Saints.

Brock, just acquired from the Seahawks at final cuts, is out with a thigh injury.
Sep 11 - 6:06 PM

Vikings CB Tramaine Brock (thigh) is questionable for Monday's Week 1 game against the Saints.

He'll likely come down to a game-time after three straight limited practices. Trae Waynes will start opposite Xavier Rhodes in base sets.
Sep 9 - 6:05 PM

Vikings acquired CB Tramaine Brock from the Seahawks in exchange for a 2018 seventh-round pick.

The Seahawks appear to have fallen in love with Shaq Griffin and Pierre Desir behind Richard Sherman, so Brock is available after signing a cheap one-year deal with Seattle halfway through camp. Vikings 2015 first-round pick Trae Waynes has been a disappointment and slot corner Captain Munnerlyn walked in 2017 free agency. Brock could end up starting early in the season.
Sep 1 - 6:47 PM

Seahawks signed CB Tramaine Brock, formerly of the 49ers, to a one-year contract.

Seattle was the only visit Brock made after he was cleared of domestic violence charges last week. It's a great get at this stage of the year at a position of need for the Seahawks. Brock was Pro Football Focus' No. 16 cornerback out of 119 qualifiers last season and was only cut by the Niners because of his arrest. He'll push impressive rookie Shaq Griffin to be Seattle's No. 2 corner.
Aug 16 - 12:14 PM

Free agent CB Tramaine Brock will visit the Seahawks on Tuesday.

It'll be Brock's first official visit since he was cleared of domestic violence charges last week. The 29-year-old (next week) was cut by the division-rival 49ers in April, but is being sought after now that he's out of legal trouble. The Seahawks have a gaping hole opposite Richard Sherman.
Aug 14 - 6:52 PM

The San Francisco Chronicle reports the 49ers aren't interested in re-signing free agent CB Tramaine Brock.

Brock was recently cleared of domestic violence charges, but the 49ers aren't one of the four teams that have expressed interest in him. San Francisco is moving forward with Rashard Robinson, Dontae Johnson, Keith Reaser, K'Wuan Williams, and rookie Ahkello Witherspoon as their top four corners. Robinson and Johnson have been getting first-team training camp reps.
Aug 9 - 4:31 PM

The Santa Clara district attorney has dropped the felony domestic violence case against free agent CB Tramaine Brock.

Brock was arrested in April and immediately released by the 49ers. Turning 29 in 11 days, Brock was San Francisco's clear No. 1 cornerback last season, grading out as Pro Football Focus' No. 16 corner out of 119 qualifiers. Now that charges have been dropped, four teams have already reached out to Brock. The Eagles could use him.
Aug 9 - 11:57 AM

Ex-49ers CB Tramaine Brock has been charged with felony domestic violence and misdemeanor child endangerment following his April arrest.

Brock is accused of punching his girlfriend in the face and strangling her, including while she was holding their one-year-old child. He faces up to five years in prison if convicted. Going on 29, Brock had a strong 2016, but it's quite possible his NFL career is over.
Jun 6 - 3:20 PM

49ers released CB Tramaine Brock.

The move comes one day after Brock was arrested for domestic violence. Brock was the 49ers' top corner and leaves a major hole in their secondary. His release saves $3.55 million in cap space. Rashard Robinson, Keith Reaser and Dontae Johnson are the top in-house options to replace Brock opposite Jimmie Ward. The 49ers are now even likelier to use the No. 2 overall pick on a cornerback, quite possibly Ohio State's Marshon Lattimore.
Apr 7 - 5:52 PM

The Sacramento Bee reports Tramaine Brock’s roster spot is in jeopardy.

Brock is facing league discipline after his arrest for felony domestic violence. He’s coming off one of his best seasons, but the charges are serious enough the 49ers could move on. Brock is owed $4.3 million in the final year of his contract.
Apr 7 - 5:20 PM

49ers CB Tramaine Brock was arrested on a felony domestic violence charge Thursday in Santa Clara.

Brock was arrested and booked into Santa Clara County Jail after police responded to a call and found his girlfriend with "visible injuries," though police have categorized the injuries as "minor." The alleged incident occurred less than a mile from 49ers team headquarters. Brock started all 16 games for San Francisco last season while earning PFF's No. 16 grade out of 119 qualifiers at cornerback.
Apr 7 - 3:35 PM

Tramaine Brock and Jimmie Ward are expected to be the 49ers' starting cornerbacks this season.

Ward is working at right corner during OTAs, with Brock on the left side. The nickel back has been third-year UDFA Chris Davis. Brock is a league-average corner or slightly better, while Ward could be stretched on the boundary after spending the last two seasons in the slot. The 49ers' shortage of pass rushers will put pressure on their secondary early and often this season.

49ers CB Tramaine Brock (foot) was limited in Friday’s practice and is listed as questionable for Week 14.

Late-week downgrades aren’t a good sign, but Brock’s only dealing with a contusion. His absence would be an upgrade to Johnny Manziel's matchup.

49ers CB Tramaine Brock (hamstring) is active for Week 1 against the Vikings.

He was limited at practice last week but is all systems go for Monday night's opener. Cornerback is an area of concern for the Niners after losing Perrish Cox and Chris Culliver this offseason. Brock appeared on just 84 snaps last season and received a negative grade from Pro Football Focus.
