The Cowboys are moving WR Teddy Williams to cornerback this offseason.

The former UT-San Antonio track star may be perfectly nick-named the "Splendid Sprinter," but his football skill hasn't gotten him on the field in two years with the Cowboys. If he ever makes a contribution, it will likely be on special teams.

Williams, a former sprinter star at UT-San Antonio, spent some time on the Cowboys' active roster late last year. He can go to the practice squad.

The Cowboys reportedly promoted WR Teddy Williams from their practice to block the Dolphins from signing him.

All the "Splendid Sprinter" offers is ridiculous speed, but that's apparently enough to entice at least one other NFL team. The former track star at UT-San Antonio recently switched from cornerback to wide receiver. He's a long-term project.

The former college track star has blinding speed, but he's as raw as they come as far as football goes. He's no guarantee to see the active roster.

Cowboys signed WR Teddy Williams.

The "Splendid Sprinter" was a track star at UT-San Antonio, breaking the 10-second mark in the 100 meters and clocking in at 4.26 and 4.27 in the forty-yard dash. Unfortunately, he can't play football. "He's got three things," Cowboys Executive VP Stephen Jones said. "Speed and I forgot the other two."
