ESPN's Adam Schefter reports DT Marcell Dareus "tweaked his hamstring and could miss some camp time."

After a lost 2016, the Bills are counting on a bounce-back campaign from their stud defensive tackle. The injury doesn't seem like a long-term concern, but could cost Dareus some preseason reps. Before last season, Dareus had missed only two games in five years.
Jul 29 - 9:16 AM

Bills DC Leslie Frazier said he "couldn’t be happier" with the work DT Marcell Dareus has done this offseason.

"He’s all in," Frazier said, before adding Dareus can be "one of the most dominant interior defensive linemen" in the league if he keeps his head on straight. Injuries and suspension limited Dareus to just eight games last year, but it sounds like he is on track for a bounce back.
May 30 - 9:21 AM

Bills DT Marcell Dareus (abdominal) is expected to play Week 13 against the Raiders.

Dareus had been dealing with a groin issue, but he suffered an abdominal strain late against the Jaguars and was held out of the final few series. It does not look like that injury is going to keep him out, but it is just another malady in what has been an injury- and suspension-marred season. Hopefully Dareus can stay on the field the rest of the way.

Bills DT Marcell Dareus (groin) is questionable for Week 11 against the Bengals.

Dareus hasn't been able to find the field much this season due to a suspension and groin and hamstring issues, but coach Rex Ryan said he "feels good" about Dareus playing Sunday. It's a downgrade to Jeremy Hill's matchup.

The Bills tentatively expect NT Marcell Dareus (groin) to return against the Bengals on Sunday.

Suspended for Weeks 1-4, Dareus has made only one 2016 appearances thanks to groin and hamstring issues. If he does return against Cincinnati, he'll undoubtedly be on a snap count.

Bills NT Marcell Dareus (groin) was not spotted at Saturday's practice.

It is a downgrade after Dareus was able to get in a limited session Friday, and Dareus was ruled out for Monday night. Suspension and injury have limited Dareus to one game this season.

Bills NT Marcell Dareus (groin) will not practice Thursday.

Sidelined by a suspension and then a hamstring issue earlier this season, Dareus is now dealing with a groin injury. He is at best questionable to face the Seahawks on Monday night.

Bills NT Marcell Dareus (hamstring) expects to return Sunday.

Dareus served a four-game suspension to start the year and missed the last three weeks after injuring his hamstring at practice. He's finally ready to debut Sunday against the Patriots. Dareus could be on a snap count, but will be an immediate upgrade to Buffalo's interior line.

Bills coach Rex Ryan said there's no timetable for NT Marcell Dareus' return from a hamstring injury.

Dareus has sat out the last two games after injuring his hamstring at practice. The former All-Pro has yet to see the field in 2016 after serving a four-game suspension to begin the year. Corbin Bryant has been filling in at nose tackle.

Bills declared NT Marcell Dareus, QB Cardale Jones, OL Gabe Ikard, OT Seantrel Henderson, C Patrick Lewis, OT Cyrus Kouandjio and TE Gerald Christian inactive for Week 6 against the 49ers.

It's a quiet week for the Bills, who have been without Dareus since his four-game suspension ended. He's week to week, with a shot at returning in Week 7.

Bills NT Marcell Dareus (hamstring) is listed as doubtful for Week 6.

Dareus' suspension ended two weeks ago, but he hasn't been able to suit up on game days due to the hamstring injury. We're considering him "week to week."
Fri, Oct 14, 2016 12:22:00 PM

Bills coach Rex Ryan said he's "not optimistic" about NT Marcell Dareus (hamstring) playing against the 49ers in Week 6.

Dareus hurt his hamstring last Friday, and has yet to resume practicing. It looks like Corbin Bryant will draw another start at nose tackle against the 49ers. Dareus was reinstated last week after serving a four-game suspension for violating the league's substance-abuse policy.

Bills declared NT Marcell Dareus, C Gabe Ikard, QB Cardale Jones, T Cyrus Kouandjio, C Patrick Lewis, CB Corey White and RB Jonathan Williams inactive for Week 5 against the Rams.

Dareus (hamstring) returned to a limited practice on Friday but couldn't get the green light. Charles Clay (knee), Jerome Felton (back), Stephon Gilmore (ankle), Cordy Glenn (ankle), LeSean McCoy (hand) and Jonathan Meeks (foot) are all active for Buffalo.

Updating a previous item, Bills NT Marcell Dareus (hamstring) is not expected to play Sunday at Los Angeles.

Dareus suffered the hamstring injury in practice this week. The Bills played solid run defense without Dareus in the lineup the first four weeks and still pose a daunting matchup for Todd Gurley. It's unclear what kind of shape Dareus is in after he reported to the team following a four-game suspension.
