Jacquizz Rodgers rushed for two yards on one carry in Atlanta's Week 4 loss to the Vikings, adding 35 yards on four catches.
Standard day at the office for Rodgers. He's mostly a non-factor as the No. 2 man in this four-man committee. Rodgers is on pace for just 412 total yards and four touchdowns this season. He's obviously not on the fantasy radar. Sep 28 - 8:21 PM

Jacquizz Rodgers rushed five times for six yards in Atlanta's Week 3 romp over the Bucs, adding a three-yard reception.

On a night where the Falcons scored 56 points, Quizz managed all of nine yards. Rodgers received a carry from the Bucs' five-yard line in the first quarter, but got stuffed for a three-yard loss. Rodgers has proven time and again that he's a replacement-level back, at best, but remains a firm No. 2 in the Falcons' four-man committee. He has no value in 12-14 team leagues.
Sep 19 - 12:24 AM

Jacquizz Rodgers rushed five times for 23 yards in Atlanta's Week 2 loss to the Bengals.

Rodgers was targeted just once in the passing game. Rodgers and Steven Jackson were the only Falcons to get carries one week after they went with a four-man attack against the Saints. Rodgers is waiver-wire fodder across all formats of fantasy.
Sep 14 - 5:52 PM

Jacquizz Rodgers rushed 6 times for 34 yards and a touchdown in the Falcons' Week 1 win.

Rodgers' touchdown was an impressive, weaving 17-yard run in the fourth quarter that gave Atlanta their first lead of the game. Rodgers' seven touches were the most of the committee of backs backing up starter Steven Jackson. He is still the No. 2 back in Atlanta, though the Falcons would likely turn to a committee approach if anything happened to Jackson.
Sep 7 - 5:09 PM

Jacquizz Rodgers rushed eight times for 33 yards and caught five passes for 31 yards in Saturday's preseason game against the Titans.

With Steven Jackson (hamstring) still sidelined, Rodgers started and handled the vast majority of first-team work. Antone Smith mixed in sparingly and Devonta Freeman got just one series to himself. It's clear that Quizz, now in his fourth year with the Falcons, has the faith of the coaching staff even though they are aware of his talent limitations. He'd lead a committee approach if Jackson misses any time early in the season. In three preseason games, Rodgers has 18 carries for 66 yards with one touchdown and five catches for 31 yards.
Aug 23 - 9:33 PM

Jacquizz Rodgers rushed seven times for 20 yards and a touchdown in Atlanta's preseason opener Friday night.

He started with Steven Jackson (hamstring) on the shelf. Quizz split time with Antone Smith, while struggling rookie Devonta Freeman worked as the No. 3 back through Atlanta's rotation. We've seen what Rodgers has to offer at the NFL level, and it's not much beyond scatback duties. If Atlanta is going to have a viable running game this season, it won't be because of Rodgers.
Aug 8 - 8:45 PM

Jacquizz Rodgers is battling rookie Davonta Freeman for No. 2 RB duties.

Through three NFL seasons, Rodgers has averaged a paltry 3.63 YPC as an alleged change-of-pace back. We're expecting Freeman to perform far better with the gig. Even with Steven Jackson nearing the end of the line, there's not much Dynasty value in holding Rodgers.

Jacquizz Rodgers has hit escalators resulting in a 2014 cap number of $1.436 million.

Thanks to playing on at least 35 percent of the Falcons' snaps in two of his first three NFL seasons, Rodgers' 2014 base salary has jumped from $645,000 to $1.389 million. Steven Jackson also carries a 2014 cap figure of $4.166 million and Jason Snelling will count $1.733 million. It's a lot to pay a largely ineffective running back corps, but the Falcons are well under the 2014 projected cap. They'll likely keep Rodgers as a change-of-pace option behind Jackson.

Jan 20 - 12:32 PM

Jacquizz Rodgers (concussion) has been ruled out for Week 17.

Jason Snelling and Antone Smith will share backup duties behind Steven Jackson against the Panthers. Rodgers' third NFL season ends with 673 total yards and four all-purpose touchdowns. Although Rodgers is a largely effective change-of-pace back, the Falcons do not internally view him as a future feature runner, severely capping his long-range fantasy ceiling. He's also yet to clear 4.0 YPC in any of his three years as a professional.

Jacquizz Rodgers (concussion) has yet to be cleared for Week 17.

Rodgers remained out of practice Thursday, and is unlikely to be cleared in time for Sunday's finale. It means Steven Jackson will be backed up by Jason Snelling and Antone Smith against the Panthers.

Jacquizz Rodgers (concussion) did not practice Wednesday.

Rodgers suffered a concussion in Monday night's loss to the 49ers and will be in a race to get cleared for Week 17. His status will be updated again on Thursday.

Jacquizz Rodgers exited Monday night's game against the 49ers and is being evaluated for a concussion.

Rodgers caught a fourth-quarter screen pass and took a helmet-to-helmet hit from Aldon Smith. It wasn't a vicious blow, but it was enough to send Rodgers to the locker room. Jason Snelling and Antone Smith are Steven Jackson's backups. Rodgers rushed for ten yards on three carries and caught three passes for another 15 yards before leaving.

Jacquizz Rodgers rushed for 17 yards on four carries and caught four passes for 24 yards in Week 15 against the Redskins.

With Antone Smith out with a knee injury, Rodgers handled all of the change-of-pace duties behind Steven Jackson. He's not a fantasy option.
Sun, Dec 15, 2013 07:29:00 PM

Jacquizz Rodgers rushed seven times for 14 yards and caught three passes for 33 yards in the Falcons' Week 14 loss to Green Bay.

Change-of-pace back Rodgers had a few more touches than usual because Antone Smith departed with a knee injury. Quizz is a Steven Jackson handcuff only as it pertains to fantasy football Weeks 15 and 16.
Sun, Dec 8, 2013 04:28:00 PM

Jacquizz Rodgers rushed four times for 12 yards and caught one pass for 11 yards in Sunday's Week 13 win over the Bills.

Rodgers played sparingly as Antone Smith and Jason Snelling both got some change-of-pace snaps behind workhorse Steven Jackson. It's nothing new. Over the last four games, Quizz has totaled 25 touches from scrimmage. He's nothing more than a weak handcuff to Jackson.
