Giants activated S Will Hill from the reserve/suspended list.
Hill was suspended for testing positive for the ever-increasingly popular Adderall. Cornerback Michael Coe (hamstring) was placed on injured reserve in a corresponding move. Hill will step back into a reserve role. Sat, Nov 10, 2012 04:13:00 PM

Giants S Will Hill has been suspended four games for violating the NFL's policy on performance-enhancing substances.

Hill has adopted the hot new PED excuse, claiming his positive test was triggered by the prescription-drug Adderall. Regardless of what Hill tested positive for, he was a character nightmare before foregoing his senior year at Florida in 2011, and couldn't get so much as an NFL workout before the Giants took him on in May. Seeing time at both corner and safety, Hill will be eligible to return in Week 10.

Giants signed S Will Hill.

Hill was apparently humbled by going undrafted in 2011, then spending a year in the Arena League. The Giants felt comfortable enough with his character to keep Hill around for another look. He's still a long shot for the final 53.

Free agent S Will Hill is participating at Giants rookie minicamp.

The Giants have a contingent of fairly well-known players on hand, including former Steelers WR Limas Sweed and Eagles C Jamaal Jackson. Hill was a five-star high school recruit whose knuckleheaded ways contributed to a huge slippage in draft stock last offseason. Hill spent the year in the Arena League.

SI.com's Tony Pauline reports free agent S Will Hill is "hoping to make a comeback," and the Jets and Giants are "showing interest."

Hill would be "coming back" from going undrafted last year and drawing zero interest after the lockout. Hill forwent his senior season at the University of Florida only to see his draft stock nuked by a disastrous Combine and the discovery of his cartoonishly juvenile Twitter account. Hill routinely tweeted about smoking marijuana, his bathroom habits and sexual exploits. A stiff-hipped character nightmare who largely underachieved in college after being a five-star recruit, it would be a miracle if Hill ever steps foot on an NFL field.

Florida S Will Hill "looked stiff and struggled to flip [his] hips" at the Gators' Pro Day, according to the Sporting News' Russ Lande.

Hill also had a disastrous Combine, doing nothing to ease concerns that he's a major character risk. Rotoworld draft analyst Evan Silva is now betting that Hill goes undrafted next month.

Florida S Will Hill's performance at the NFL Combine greatly damaged his draft stock.

More specifically, it's in a "free fall" after he looked wild and undisciplined on the field and interviewed poorly. According to the National Football Post, "the more NFL teams know about Hill, the less they like him." It's looking like he's going to have plenty of time to compose profane tweets during the first two days of the draft.

Last fall, Florida S Will Hill posted on Twitter a series of sexually explicit and profane tweets that also included references to marijuana use.

All the images can be viewed at the link below, but Hill's "smoking bud" and "blowing on that sour" references threaten to torpedo his draft stock. It's surely something of which NFL teams will be aware. Hill also discussed getting oral sex in a car, doing drugs with his tutor, and prostitution.

Florida S Will Hill will forgo his senior season to enter the 2011 NFL draft.

A former five-star recruit and the nation's consensus top safety entering college, Hill rotated with Major Wright in 2009 before taking over as a full-time player in 2010 and recording two interceptions. While he has plenty of talent and is well built for a safety at 6'1/207, Hill was ultimately a disappointment for the Gators. He was suspended two weeks in 2010 for violating team rules and struggled in coverage in the final 10 games.
