Colts LT Anthony Castonzo (hamstring) expects to play this week against the Jets.

Castonzo was active last Thursday, but he did not play a single snap. He has suffered a couple setbacks already in this recovery, so the left tackle did not guarantee he will return, but things look promising. Castonzo was a full participant in Wednesday's practice.
Oct 11 - 1:07 PM

Colts LT Anthony Castonzo (hamstring) is active for Week 5 against the Patriots.

Five games into the season, Andrew Luck will finally have his blindside protector. He will be missing almost everyone else, but still, progress.
Oct 4 - 7:02 PM

Colts LT Anthony Castonzo (hamstring) is out for Week 4 against the Texans.

Colts will also be missing starting RT Joe Haeg (ankle). Both are considered 'week to week', though the Colts have said Castonzo isn't a candidate for injured reserve. It's unfortunate timing for Indianapolis' pass pro, which will be tasked in blocking J.J. Watt, Jadeveon Clowney, and Whitney Mercilus in Week 4. Eric Ebron will also continue being an every-down player without Jack Doyle (hip) available Sunday.
Sep 28 - 1:16 PM

Colts coach Frank Reich confirmed LT Anthony Castonzo (hamstring) isn't a candidate for injured reserve.

Castonzo will miss his second straight game after re-injuring his hamstring. He's week to week, but the Colts are hoping he'll return sooner than later. Indy will go with Joe Haeg and Denzelle Good as their starting tackles against the Eagles.
Sep 22 - 9:30 PM

Colts LT Anthony Castonzo (hamstring) is out for Week 3 against the Eagles.

Marlon Mack (hamstring, foot) and Jack Doyle (hip) were also ruled out. Le'Raven Clark is expected to continue filling-in for Castonzo until the Colts' starting tackle is fully healthy. Eric Ebron and Jordan Wilkins will also be counted on in Week 3 given the usage both Mack and Doyle have shored up to start the year. Ebron remains the most intriguing for fantasy purposes.
Sep 21 - 1:11 PM

Colts LT Anthony Castonzo (hamstring) remained sidelined at Wednesday's practice.

He hasn't seen the field since re-injuring his hamstring at practice last Wednesday. Le'Raven Clark filled in for Castonzo at left tackle in Sunday's win over Washington.

Colts declared OT Anthony Castonzo, DT Denico Autry, DE Tarell Basham, OT Denzelle Good, RB Christine Michael, CB Chris Milton and CB Lenzy Pipkins inactive for Week 2 against the Redskins.

He was ruled out earlier this week after aggravating his hamstring at practice. Le'Raven Clark will fill in for Castonzo at left tackle. S Clayton Geathers (knee), WR Ryan Grant (chest), RB Marlon Mack (hamstring) and DT Grover Stewart (shoulder) are all active for Sunday's game in Landover.

Sep 16 - 11:38 AM

Colts LT Anthony Castonzo (hamstring) is out for Week 2 against the Redskins.

We assumed this would be the case after he was downgraded to DNP Thursday after getting in a limited session on Wednesday. Coach Frank Reich confirmed Castonzo suffered a "minor" setback at Wednesday's practice, which would explain the turn of events. Joe Haeg will draw another start on Andrew Luck's blind side Sunday at Washington.
Sep 14 - 1:10 PM

Colts LT Anthony Castonzo (hamstring) was downgraded to DNP at Thursday's practice.

Castonzo had been hoping to return from a hamstring strain this week but he appears to have suffered a setback. Joe Haeg would draw another start on Andrew Luck's blind side if Castonzo can't go against the Redskins in Week 2.
Sep 13 - 4:04 PM

Colts LT Anthony Castonzo (hamstring) is practicing in full Wednesday.

Castonzo said an illness halted his recovery last week, setting him back and costing him Week 1, but he expects to play Week 2. The Colts had to start Joe Haeg at left tackle and J'Marcus Webb on the right side. Webb is now injured and on I.R. Getting Castonzo back against the Redskins is huge.
Sep 12 - 12:17 PM

Colts LT Anthony Castonzo and RB Marlon Mack are both inactive for Week 1.

The rest of Indy's inactives are WR Marcus Johnson, TE/FB Ryan Hewitt, DT Hassan Ridgeway, and OTs Le'Raven Clark and Denzelle Good. Mack's inactivity was long expected, but Castonzo's absence is highly concerning for Andrew Luck's protection. The Colts will apparently move RT Joe Haeg to left tackle.
Sep 9 - 11:39 AM

Colts LT Anthony Castonzo will test out his injured hamstring during pre-game warmups prior to Sunday's Week 1 matchup against the Bengals.

Castonzo and teammate Marlon Mack (hamstring) are both looking like game-time decisions for Sunday's opener. Per NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, the Colts are expected to exercise a "high level of caution" and that both will need to show "significant improvement" in order to play. We'll know Castonzo's status about an hour and a half before game time.
Sep 9 - 8:26 AM

Colts LT Anthony Castonzo (hamstring) is questionable for Week 1 against the Bengals.

Castonzo suffered a setback towards the end of preseason and said he's "trying to be smart" moving forward. "I’m going to make sure that I’m definitely good to go," he said. The Colts are facing an uphill battle against Geno Atkins and the rest of the Bengals' defensive line even if Castonzo suits up Sunday. He'll likely play in the club's season opener.
Sep 7 - 3:55 PM

Colts LT Anthony Castonzo (hamstring) is optimistic he will play Week 1.

Castonzo said he is trying "to be smart" after suffering a setback a couple weeks ago. "I really want to make sure that doesn't happen (again) because that was a big-time setback," Castonzo said. "I’m going to make sure that I’m definitely good to go." Despite that trepidation, Castonzo is expected to ramp up his activity during Thursday's practice and is optimistic he will be ready for the season opener.
